Part business and part exploring and house searching trip to Seattle, WA. Most of the area was filmed in and around Issaquah, WA (Snoqualmie Ridge, North Bend, and Maple Valley).

Because of this video I moved to Seattle back in 2017. I still watch this from time to time and I can't help but tear up a bit from the happiness I get watching this. I'm glad I've stumpled upon this 5 years ago. Thank you, Roy.

These neighborhoods with pink cherry blossom trees are located outside of Seattle. Issaquah, Mill Creek, Bellevue, Redmond, Edmonds, and Arlington. Those are beautiful neighborhoods with very expensive and demanding Home Owner Association (HOA) fees and rules. Nothing cheap or fun to have a house with an HOA.

And why? I see more and more plates from WA and OR here in central TX (Austin) and for the life of me I can't understand why outside of money. I'd downsize my house by half and take a pay-cut to live in a better environment any day if the opportunity arose.

+T_Carnage From what I can remember it was an older neighborhood in North Bend (just west of Snoqualmie) I just looked at google maps and just couldn't find exactly where. It has been almost 3 years since this trip.

I grew up in the Seattle area. I wouldn’t say there’s THAT much! I usually say there’s about 360 gray days, but that’s in Seattle. Go towards the cascades, like Issaquah or Preston, and 3/4 of those days are rain also.
