nah but fr this is the best kestrel map, we need to make more peril and kestrel stuff fr fr?

One of the things that have always amazed me. Kestrel was able to have two very unnatural children, a fire scales, and a fire less child. I know this must be due to Chameleon not being a real skywing but I can’t help and wonder, what if a skywing took that paper? Would they also be able to sire more fire scales and or fire less?

I love how at 00:55 kestrel just looks so fed up like: heck nah scarlet! Don’t touch my girl

Kestrel tried so hard to save Peril, it’s so sad because in the end Scarlet got her, and Kestrel died after finally meeting Peril again..

Poor kestrel went through so much trauma because scarlet was a insane and horrible queen

This is fabulous! If Netflix won't give us what we want, someone else will, I hope.

I love this map!! The first WIP introduced me to this song and AJR in general when I was younger. It’ll always bee nostalgic for me :) these animators all did an amazing job.

damn this is amazing! not sure if it was intentional, but the motif of scarlet flicking her head with an evil smile at the end of the chorus is cool, queen scarlet finding both kestrel and peril

Sky is certainly one of the retcons I don't mind and actually like, I could've sworn that it outright said that Krestral drowned sky, not just threw him in the river, with that said. I hadn't taken the time before to properly consider how messed up the skywing tradition/kestrel life is. Previously I always assumed that when the skywings killed unusual dragonets or the like they did so either before the egg even had a chance to hatch. or moments after the egg hatched. As well as a third party would do it. Yet with newer books, minor retcons, and time we've come to learn a few things. Doesnt matter how young or old the dragonet may be if they are different in any obvious or subtle way they will be killed (should also note this applies to dragons in general but seems to happen most with dragonets). That Scarlet first made it seem like Krestral had a chance to save one of her dragonets, probably even letting Krestral have several minutes to soak in what she just did before ordering her to also kill the other. For the sole reason of wanting to see Krestral suffer. I still wonder how things might've been different if Peril had accepted Krestrals offer. I doubt she would've survived. Yet she might've.

Ох, у меня был похожий персонаж Яра, разве что она может удерживать пламя внутри себя. Факты. 1.Яра жила без матери, ведь ей была привереда Зола, и неаккуратно обошедшись со своей способностью, она обожгла драконихе лапу, и поняв чо как она бросила дочь и собралась сбросить ее со скалы. Но разбудив в малышке огромный стресс и неудобства, дочь ее полыхнула огнем и обожгла Золе лапу так, что ее пришлось "ампутировать". И упала. 2.В закрытом помещении где спали обычные драконы она подожгла подстилки и убила множество драконов. 3.в том поединке выяснилась то, что у Алого чешуя может легко выдерживать и заживлять ожоги от чешуи яры. 4.Несмотря на ее особенность у нее была любовь, из морских. Ведь она была шпионом. Это был Шторм. 5.Она убила Скопу, а эта дракониха была ей как сестра. (Она была единственным драконенком в семье). Она изуродовала ее а когда все заснули пришла в палату, и пока Скопа не очнулась после битвы, убила.

I’ve always wondered… how did Peril not burn through her egg/burn sky in the egg?

So Soo when kestrel drowned the dragonet did it actually died because where did sky come from then
