Got to love Sebas’ training regimen for Climb. He knew Climb couldn’t get physically stronger as he was, so he helped Climb unlock a new technique to release the subconscious limiters his mind puts on his body. Look forward to the next episode!

Sebas: "You need not be modest." Also Sebas: "I am just an old man who knows how to handle himself."

The purple ominous background and the sudden ice we saw is basically Sebas directing killing intent at Climb to intimidate him, the idea is to break the instinct to freeze up on the spot and move when your life is in danger. We know it's a thing in real life too where people sometimes just freeze up when faced with a serious situation.

Now comes the rehabilitation of Brain. A door is opening that Eight Fingers would be wise to not go through because Sebas and Nazarick are on the other side of that door. Mayhem will soon ensue.

Sebas is actually the closest to a human.

One fun fact about nazarick or rather it’s denizens are that the strongest and most feared are chained on the 8th floor and guarded by victim. All I’ll say about one of them is that Ainz is very afraid of what they would do to him if they got out.

lots of people miss this, but the blue roses have been mentioned before. clementine mentions there are only a few people in this country capable of standing toe to toe with her. members of "blue rose" members of "red drop" gazef stronof, and brain unglaus. as you have already seen all the other episodes available by now, you have seen the party "red drop" now too. hope you'll react to the movie coming out this summer too, as in my opinion its one of the best arc's of the novel. and also keep in mind that the movie actually takes place BEFORE some of the events in the 4th season of the anime

The thing about the world’s power levels is it really easy to screw up you “build” since levels work in the same way as YGGDRASIL. For instance, a sellsword out in the wilderness just making a meal might accidentally gain a level in Cook. That greatly hampers their potential as a fighter. In the game, coming back from death incurs a 5-level penalty. It sounds bad, until you realize that gives an opportunity to respec your levels so you wouldn’t be saddled with a failing build. In the New World, this translates to tremendous cost to their life force. Too many are unable to survive the process. Ainz actually commented as such when he went to save Carne Village.

Hello friend, lets get to clarifying some things based on information from the light novels. The female warrior named Gagaran (often mistaken for a man because of her muscles) is a generally good person who cares for others and has no racial prejudice towards demihumans, though she has no problem killing them if she thinks they are a threat. However, she is also quite horny ? (if thats the right word for this situation...), especially with male virgins, and if one of them even hints that he is interested in her, she would drag them into a room with her. This is a destination that Climb often has to avoid. The woman in the mask, called Evileye, looks like a little girl, but her way of speaking implies that she is much older than appears. And she said something quite curious to Climb, that he "do not abandon his humanity for power". In the novel she tells us that, although the Slane Theocracy is sometimes cruel and ruthless in allowing the enslavement of demihumans, it is also the only reason why humans can have free kingdoms, because beyond their borders it is the demihumans who enslave humans and raise them like cattle to eat them. We also learned a curious fact, Lakyus's sword is one of those belonging to the Black Knight mentioned by the "Sword of Darkness" who died in the first season at the hands of Clementine. Lakyus has chunnibyou aka "8th grader Syndrome". That's a Japanese word that describes teenagers with delusions of grandeur who desperately want to stand out, thus convincing themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers. To put it simply, Lakyus likes to pretend that her sword is possessing her and that she struggles to control it like a princess priestess... But her companions now believe this is true! In the novel there are moments when they even try to ask her if the secret power of her sword can help them out of a crisis, but she quickly changes the subject, because all of that was just her hobby for drama in action. Finally, we get to the scene where Sebas meets Climb. And the butler is already irritated AF, because he realized that he has jeopardized the mission Ainz has given him to stay undercover, to protect Tuare. So, he doesn't really feel like making conversation at first. But he can't help it when he sees Climb's honest determination and decides to train him. Climb has no natural talent... that's why the only way to improve himself is to overcome the fear of death to exceed his physical limits, but to be successful he needs to have something to live for. And Climb has it: The princess he has sworn to serve. Instead, Brain became so obsessed with his own individual strength that he ruled out anything else and so when Shalltear showed him how weak he was, he found no strength to try to overcome his natural limit. Hence the meeting of Sebas and Climb made him completely change his way of thinking and even his concept of "strength". In the end, the assassins who attack Sebas are sent by the owner of the 8-finger brothel, who at no time really thought of waiting for the next day's response. In fact, after killing the butler, the assassins were going to get Tsuare back and also capture the "mysterious noblewoman" (Solution) to keep her in her brothel. They have no idea that they were saved by dying at the hands of Sabas, because the alternative would be falling into the hands of a "Slime" that can digest you for days while keeping its victims alive. Finally, in a desperate attempt to save Tuare without breaking the incognito that Ainz ordered, Sebas decides to destroy the Brothel and turn everyone over to the authorities, taking advantage of Climb's connection to Princess Renner. (And killing most of the scum in the process) What the butler doesn't know is that Solution has already accused him... so we'll have to see if this will work out. This is definitely one of the best episodes of the series imo. What do you think?

In the light novel, climb reflects that even if he was joking - Gagaran would have likely dragged him to a room and taken his virginity. A proclaimed hobby of hers is picking "fresh cherries".

Lakyus is what you would call a Chunnibyou or “middle school syndrome” or “chunni” for short in English kind of means “middle school edge lord” Referring to people who still act edgy even after their middle school phase. She essentially is just role playing and imagining that she has to suppress the father force of her sword bc she thinks it’s cool but she does that at night when everyone’s asleep bc she knows it’s fucking chunni

I remember that I wanted a Sebas spin off so bad. A story where he can truly shine and maybe level up enough to solo floor guardian level. Such a great character.
