Biggest mistake this guy ever made was getting rid of Sebastian. No one knows who his band is except for a few die-hard fans.

There used to be videos of Skid Row's original singer performing songs off the debut album. All of the melodies and lyrics were exactly the same as what Bach recorded. Of course Bach added higher notes and vocal divebombing but that's it. It was clear he had no part of Skid Row's songwriting and musical arrangements and just sang the script that was handed to him.

I saw Madam X with Sebastian in a small club. It was either late-86 or early-87. I brought just a point and shoot camera, but wound up with some good photos. The band invited me backstage, offered me stuff off the deli tray, and we’re all-around nice people. Sebastian even had me take band photos with his disk camera.

I like Baz immensely but he's a grown man child.

Gracious and classy interview. Things didn't work out, but he's not throwing Bas under the bus and he's demonstrating empathy and sympathy throughout. I really appreciate the professionalism and overall positivity from Chris in this!

Part of the magic of this channel is seeming to always have the perfect dance partner. Great interview and subject!

Sounds like Bon Jovi knew Sebastian was at a whole other level. Don't forget if it wasn't for me he wouldn't had made it. Blow me!

Sebastian is his own worst enemy. After hearing about the message he left on Snakes phone during holiday dinner with his family its no wonder he got booted. If he'll froze over I don't think the og Skid Row lineup will ever reform

The Petrucci sisters are, FAR, underappreciated in the history of: music, the '80s, metal.

This was choc full of cool info I never knew. Respect to Sébastien. He was obnoxious, sometime shameless, extroverted, and a crazy wild man!

You can take getting fired as an opportunity or a failure.

Also I love the story of Madam X, especially when Chris Godzilla and whoever else was involved did an incredible interview(s) that have always been inspiring to me. I found Madam X music on KZfaq in like 2009-ish. Chris working his ass off at day jobs and still putting it all into the band is pure passion.

Great interview 👍🏻 Chris is such a great, cool guy, when I was recording and performing in Surgical Steel in Phoenix in 1987, is when I met the Madam X members at Rockers and we all became good friends, I think they came to our shows too. Chris has always been a good friend and supportive thru my career. I can't say enough great things about him. In fact, before we even met, while I was back in Steeler in 1983, I would bang my bass against my head and the fans would freak out. Later, in 87, after meeting Chris and finding out that he does the same thing that I was doing, so, we were the only two metal bassists who were bashing our heads with our basses. That became a funny thing between us because nobody ever did that before. 👍🏻✌️🤘

I loved metal so much back then I knew this band. One of the many great bands that you won’t find records for anymore.
