The "Alpha-pack" is group of teenagers believes love is a game. Everybody tries to win by gaining as many "scores" as possible.
Stiles is one of Derek's trophies and he can't let it go, so he has a plan - becomes part of "pack" to make Derek notice him. It works.
Derek changes a lot, and everybody is noticing that. He loses game, but win Stiles. Sometimes you need to lose to win.
