In this three individual accounts and one their Alchemist holding account are sealed by SEBI, the three individual account holders are Brijmohan Mahajan, Vikram Aditya Singh and Chandrashekhar Chauhan.

In 2015 August SEBI The regulator, had asked Alchemist Holdings and its directors to refund investors money. The company had mobilised Rs 444.67 crore through the issuance of redeemable preference shares to 4.26 lakh people.
