Just picked one if these up today at an Estate Sale for $15. The Body is dark blue plastic. Absolutely filthy and a damaged Cord. I am a Male and work out at the Gym since 2002 and my Biceps are nothing like. Not sure how to read the coded date on it?

X4 does not do a good job on hardwood floors. Because the brush roll can not be turned off it takes anything on the floor and throws it around.

I have not experienced that and I have had mine for about 15 years. I only have hardwood floors. You might have a problem somewhere.
