It was truly in poor taste. She could have said the same thing here, in the US, and it wouldn’t have had the effect as it did with her saying it in a foreign country. This country is full of patriots and full of families who’s loved ones died in Iraq during that time. They were there to make sure we live in peace here. No more 911. There is no greater testament to the strength of a country’s democracy than the fact that millions of people freely choose, everyday, to defend it. When she said these disparaging remarks those people were listening(myself included) & their main audience are those patriots I referenced earlier. It didn’t end well for them. I don’t listen to them anymore and I was a big fan at the time. Sadly, no more.

The sad thing is that this wouldn't have happened today. Artist, actors, comedians... they'll make fun of the president (Trump) in office, no matter what country they're in, and they're praised.
