In her 15 minutes speech for Woman of the Decade Award on Billeboard ,Taylor said : " Have you ever heard someone say about a male artist : I really like his songs but it's just something about him i don't like ,NO ! That criticism is just reserve for us ( female artist ) " . You : " i am not sure about her personnality " You prove her point : double standards ,misogyny.

Isn't that the same speech she doubled down on a lie from a previous magazine interview where she lied on a Black man Emmett Till style? Nice cognitive dissonance. You just highlighted one of her most public manipulative moments. Let's not forget she used white supremacist imagery in her initial Reputation music videos nonchalantly.

Im a gen x punk and I’ve liked her from almost the beginning - I had some internalized misogyny to work through but she made it easy by being so sweet, genuine, hilarious, relatable and generous. She’s someone who had a dream from a young age and she’s never quit and she gets better with time. And that’s just her musical talent. How people don’t respect her even if they aren’t into her music is beyond me, especially at this point. She’s a legend and I don’t apply that term lightly. I’m excited to watch all her continued success with her creativity and evolution into film director and who knows what else.

Just look into how much she’s given on this tour she’s on right now. Massive donations to food banks and the cities themselves everywhere she’s performed & the most generous bonuses to her team on this tour. $100,000 bonus to every trucker and about $55 million in total bonuses to absolutely everyone that’s been a part of her tour from top to bottom. And that’s just this year. She never announces or publicizes things herself, so they rarely make it out past her fan base when the people she’s done something for speak out on behalf of her. She’s never gotten near the recognition she deserves, whether people like her music or not. I’m glad she finally truly is now. 🫶🏽 - fan since ‘06

the fact that there's not a single negative story about her from people she has collaborated with, worked with, had a brief interaction with or any fan interaction just goes to show she's just naturally kind. she doesn't have to try, it comes naturally to her. from the time she debuted there are always some or the other thing she keeps doing for people. it's actually commendable. the media really kind of did her dirty with the kind of narrative they spinned about her just coz of the songs she wrote. however, it is really heartwarming to see how she's continued to stay on top, that's what happens when one is humble, kind, sincere and hardworking.

Beside the fact that she just gave out 55 million dollars in bonuses like others were saying, someone else mentioned Ronan, I've seen her go to a wedding reception and sing for them because her song was special to them, also invites fans (hundreds of them) to her personal homes to have secret preview concerts for upcoming albums and like bakes them cookies and shit 😂. She really is a nice person and deserves a lot more than what people give her. I don't think it's for show or tax purposes or any of that. She is literally the biggest popstar, she doesn't need to do any of it but she does it anyways.

I’d also say regarding her personality, it’s hard as a grown man to connect to a teenage girl. I always thought that a big part of the narrative about Taylor Swift not being a good person had to do with how medias had years and years of painting her as a villain for one reason or another at any given point, and people that never followed her enough to know better simply absorbed that narrative believing it because it is more reassuring, entertaining and fun to have something negative to say Often times people just dislike her without even being sure what's their reason for that, is like a dislike for her simply existing I am really liking your journey with Taylor Swift!!

I've seen this phenomenon in media for quite a while. Whenever they see a young, female, successful singer they will target them. In 90s-2000s we used to see Britney, Xtina as the main punchbags, in the 2010s there are Taylor and Nicki Minaj, and now it's not rare to see the media trying to villify Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo. As in her Billboard Artists of the Decade speech, you wouldn't see people saying "I don't hate him but there's something I don't like about him but I don't know what it is" on male artists.

Listen to Ronan, then read about how that song came to be and how she impacted that family … it will make you cry for sure….and understand her person. You will then hopefully “like” her personality… not that you have to. A Musician is successful if we like their art. I don’t know why Taylor seems to need to earn extra appreciation that other artists don’t. Plus if you watch interviews and late night talk show appearances, she seems really smart, funny and probably great company.

I really hate this thing with like '' i'm not sure or i don't like her personality''. MAN YOU DON'T KNOW HER! You never even gave her a chance to show you her personality! Do some research before making an opinion on somebody you don't know! I hate when people just straight up say they don't like her personality based just on fake boulevard stories created about her. Media always pictures Taylor as some manipulative victim playing rude revengeful crazy serial dater and that couldn't be further from truth. She's actually one of kindest people in whole entertainment industry. Nobody who worked with her ever said a bad thing about her. She really loves her fans and is also trying to help as much as she can. Media will always come with the most stupid story about her but they never report stuff like when her pregnant fan was homeless and Taylor bought her a house so her baby wouldn't have to live on street. Or that recently she gave 55M on just bonuses to everyone who worked on her current tour and also wrote each of them handwritten messages. Or that on every stop of the tour she donated money to food banks so millions of people don't have to starve. Or that she was inviting her fans to her own houses and spend whole day and night with them. People will rather report which song is about which ex boyfriend and make her look crazy just because she's writing how she feels. Nobody says a damn thing if man writes about his love life, his exes and stuff like that. And Taylor never shades people for nothing. And even when we talk about her relationships why we rather don't talk that John Mayer when he was 32 took advantage of unexperienced naive 19 years girl. Or that Jake Gyllanhaal when he was 28 went to date 20 year old girl who recently went through trauma and then cheated on her and even didn't bother to show up at her 21st birthday and made her feel like she's less than nothing? Why we don't talk about that? Or let's go to talk about Kanye, this crazy bastard. 32 year old grown man went bullying teenage girl. When she for the first time won a major award and he went on stage and said she doesn't deserve it and made her think that people were booing her and also made her feel like her career is already over just few months after her career really took off. Or that she forgave him and tried to be nice to him and friends with him and then he backstabbed her, slut-shamed her and also made a whole fake story with edited video and made her look like a liar then bullied her all over social media calling her snake. He literally tried to destroy her career for nothing, she never did anything to him! And also Scooter Braun situation when he bought her masters and didn't want to sell them back to her and also tried to stop her performing her own songs and also wanted her to sign an NDA. And now she has to re-record half of her discography just to get rights to music she made by herself about her own life. Taylor went through so much but she never let it change her and she stayed down to earth, kind and good person.

You'd love to hear this is not an isolated case, Taylor cares for her fans and is interested in meeting them. In her previous tours, she had meet and greets that were not paid for. During the concert, her team or mom would approach fans who caught their attention and gave them invitations to meet Taylor after the show. They went a lounge where they were treated as special guests and she took time to spend time with each person and really talk to them. Not the: paid hundreds of dollars for a quick walk by handshake and photo, but actually have a short conversation with them. Fans have said that she treated them as if she was the one excited to meet them and not the other way around. Another special case were secret sessions where she "stalked" fans online and had her team invite them to her houses for a listening party for the upcoming album. Her fans got to hear it first, and she would walk them through anecdotes and stories about the songs. She, again, really spends the time with them, and as in the cards on this video, she remembers who she's talking to and remember things about them, bakes cookies for them, and just overall makes everyone feel special. I don't know if anyone else does this, but at least I've never heard of anyone else, not in her stature. I'll try to find a video in case you're interested to see. It's just heartwarming.

BRA... She is honestly a completely good, good, good person. She wrote a song for a mom who lost her 4 year old boy to cancer. She included lines from the blog the mom had written about her baby in the song lyrics and gave the mother equal writing credits on the song (meaning that mom will earn royalties on the song forever). The song is called Ronan. It will absolutely BREAK your heart. But it's the most precious gift anyone could give a parent in that horrific situation. Taylor immortalised her baby.

We need more Taylor Swifts. After the tornadoes that tore through Alabama in 2011, she donated several hundred thousand dollars to various groups...one being Nick's Kids($250K) to help rebuild homes destroyed. She has donated to food banks and other charities in every city she has toured in this year. Second Harvest, a Food Bank, in Silicon Valley announced last Friday that the artist donated enough money to help hundreds of thousands of people in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. In Santa Clara she donated enough to a food bank to feed 500 families for a year. She's doing great things with her money and not buying a half a billion dollar yacht like Jeff Bozos and some of these other clowns...

Hi, new subscriber here. I appreciate that you've opem about not liking her, but go into thia videos with an open mind and willing to have your opinion changed. Not because you *have to* like her, but because you accepted it was an unbased opinion. If you continue this path you will be greatly surprised to see that she's not what the media paints her to be, and specially as girls' dad, she's quite the good role model. What I like about her the most, is that she can be this sweet and kind and humble human...but, she will defend herself and not let people step over her anymore. Which then is used to make her the villain. Also, the media image of the crazy girlfriend who lives to humiliate the poor guys who date her: you just heard it, she sings about what she has felt in her life experiences. That's not bashing your boyfriend, that's her processing her feelings. The only guy I feel she blasted (without name calling) was John Mayer, but that's a particular toxic case about a 32 year old man dating a teenager.

And I say this a lot, it seems but we all know Dear John is about John Mayor but the reason it's called Dear John is because that's what you call break up letters, more specifically written to those in the military to end relationships. It goes along with the line "and I stopped picking up and this song is to let you know why". So maybe it's blasting or maybe her just writing a Dear John letter to someone 😉 🤣

And she also stood up for ALL musical artists on the issue of streaming profits, bc the artists themselves were not getting a fair share. She wrote an open letter to Apple Music in the Washington Post and removed her music from Spotify, and both streaming platforms changed their policies. She has also used her platform to encourage people to register to vote. The list goes on. She also just seems very funny in general!

I’m a 44 year old who hasn’t necessarily disliked Taylor, I just was a casual listener. But, I found myself enthralled with her brain, after watching videos explaining the meaning behind the LWYMMD music video and I’ve since become a die hard Swiftie. Lol. She just seems like such a genuine human. I’ve never seen an artist who seems to genuinely appreciate their fans and recognizes that it’s only because of them that they get to have this amazing life. I think people dismiss her because she’s “too popular”. But, I am amazed by just how intelligent she really is. And it’s fascinating at how her brain works when creating albums, etc.

Just look up the story behind her song Ronan, get some tissues ready, maybe watch an interview or 2 about it, and listen to the song. You'll never have another fleeting thought about Taylor being less than a wonderful, loving human

She had been relentlessly bullied by the industry, jerks in the industry and the general populace so hard she withdrew from the public for a year or more. She was strong enough to come back as a savage if needed. She is the most altruistic celebrity per capita. She has made huge donations to a charities in every city she has done a show for her Eras tour. 50 million in bonuses divided for her crew. She is huge in personal participation for make-a-wish and fans who catch her attention.

I saw an interview where she talks about being shown an apartment in NY, and she walked in with the realtor and Ian McKellan was sitting there in a robe. So she lives in Gandalf's apartment she said (or something like that). I don't know how long ago that was, so no clue if that is the apartment shown here, but it was a cute story.

Song in the background while she is wrapping stuff: You Are In Love (about Jack Antonoff and Lena Dunham, her friends). Where does she live: she started out buying a condo near Music Row in Nashville; then bought a larger estate outside the city. She bought a home in Hyannis (Cape Cod) when she was dating Connor Kennedy (grandson of Bobby Kennedy) and sold it when he went off to college and their summer fling was over. She sold that and bought her estate in Watch Hill, RI. She started out buying a single condo in NYC (in Manhatten, Tribeca area); expanded it into a couple more apartments; and bought a townhouse next to it for both a private gym, private entrance, and place to park her security. She bought a place in Beverly Hills, which she recently sold; she owns the former Goldwin mansion (one of the founders of MGM) and is restoring that house to the condition it was in when he was alive. She bought (or leased) a home in London, spending the pandemic in large part with her then-beau, actor Joe Alwyn. Her legal residence for voting is still Nashville; she stays in NYC when working with Jack Antonoff, or visiting her friends; she parks herself in her current home in Beverly Hills when she needs to collab with Max Martin, or other West Coast artists. and she never stops writing at all, so she works everywhere, even on her plane.

Taylor is one of the most beautiful, inside and out, woman in the world. She handles her fame with grace and class. Has any other star of her caliber ever shared their raw emotion, pain, heartbreak, and grief with the world? She certainly doesn’t have to. It’s her soul and empathy that makes her so incredibly special. We’re now seeing the impact on a new generation - our children love and adore Taylor too. We couldn’t dream of a better role model for our kids. ♥️♥️♥️

Look up interviews of people who have met Taylor- overwhelmingly people are impressed at how kind and caring she is. You don't have to know her to have an opinion- listen to the people who DO know her. She also donates a lot to charity, including to food banks in cities where she has concerts- $10 for every seat in the venue (she sells out stadiums...)

I admit it. I'm a Swiftie. And while I would love to see her show, I won't go to one. It has to do with her fans. I know they love her. I do too. But the majority of her fans are young.(I'm not) They sing along to every song full voice. Which is ok. But the screaming would get on my nerves. And there is a great deal of screaming (listen to one of her live CD's). They are having the time of their lives but this isn't a concert I would enjoy. So I am content to sing along in my car and watch her videos. No offense fellow Swifties. You do you. I do me.
