Secretary of Defense James Mattis says the military knows "ISIS is going to go down" but notes other large confrontations are brewing in the Middle East. "We cannot be blind to those," Mattis adds.

"Face the Nation" is the number one Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having premiered on CBS on Nov. 7, 1954. John Dickerson is the host of "Face the Nation". He also serves as Political Director for CBS News and is a contributor to Slate magazine and its podcast The Political Gabfest. Wow! Mattis totally annihilates every question thrown at him. I like his demeanor- soft-spoken, scholarly, subtle but with a hidden killer's instinct. Enemies must be fearing him now.

Remember when Iran declared its intention to "annihilate" Israel? How do we surround Racqua as we locate this Caliphate? As we relapse from a sovereign to a corporate level, will the defeat of Isis guarantee the effectiveness of this strategy where Secretary Tillerson's decisions guarantee those terrorists we sent back home (apart from those we killed) were humiliated first?

Didn't the Manchester bombers come from Libya?. What does this have to do with HIllary's emails (intellectually speaking)? Why didn't we send those Paris bombers back home right away?
