Going on blind dates is tough enough, but what happens when an Auburn fan and an Alabama fan realize midway through their evening that their team loyalties don't exactly match up during Iron Bowl week.

Scary thing is that people have NO IDEA how real this is! Graduated from Bama, and know NUMEROUS people who refused to date or even be friends with a fan of the other school. Even know of someone whose family refused to accept his GF bc she went to Auburn.. lol Awesome yet so ridiculous.

When she said typical because he didn't go to school at Bama, it didn't make sense. Bryant-Denny has 101,000 seats, Jordan-Hare has 87,000 seats. If only alumni can be fans and go to games why have such large stadiums and sell so much merchandise?

I’ve never understood that either. Maybe Bama didn’t offer the course study I needed to take!! In the medical field it makes much more sense to go to UAB. With the logic shown here, I can’t be anything but a Blazers fan?

Let me put it this way: Alabama during the early 2000s stunk. They were pretty much LSU and Auburn’s doormat before Nick Saban turned them into a national powerhouse. It doesn’t matter where you graduated from, if you were a Tide fan during those down years, there’s no questioning your loyalty.
