Sharife needs to change his form so he can create his shot and not just rely on driving , at the next level he won’t be blowing by this easily and they will play him to make him create his own shot and I think he doesn’t have that skill yet.

He leans back too much. Cp3 does that a lot but obviously he’s more efficient cause he’s a point God. But he needs to fix it

The crazy thing is he his shooting Mechanics were better when he was younger. As a freshman and a sophomore at McEachern he had a quicker release and he use to elevate more. I'm not sure if he shoots with less effort because he gained more strength or what but I would love to see him get back to elevating when he shoots.

People need to quit calling him chris paul, chris was polished all around since high school and could defend, sharife only has passing and dribbling ability so people who call him cp have a bad eye

@@GoldExhaust That statement just tells me that you’re a stat/highlight watcher. Rife is more than just a dribbler and passer. He’s a solid rebounder for his size, moves his feet well on defense, good finisher around the rim, and has “potential” as a shooter. Guys like him won’t go straight to the league and blossom because he’ll need time to develop the weaknesses in his game (turnovers, bad in-between game, shooting). He’s VERY reminiscent of CP3 and Chris even like Sharife as a player a lot. Of course CP3 was far better at 19 than Sharife is but don’t make it seem like Sharife is just some overhyped player.

So when are we going to reject the media politics and admit that Cam has been the best performing freshman in the country? If any other freshman was 3rd in the nation in PPG and led their team to a Top 25 bid, they’d be looked at as Jesus.

Their team is good as a whole. Him as a player. He’s decent. One night he can score on 55% shooting and another who can on 20% shooting. Sometimes it will take him 16 shots to get 28 points and sometimes it takes him 26 shots to get him 30 points. He can be super inconsistent and has major flaws in his game. He’s just a put shot creator but he doesn’t seem to get much separation. His defense is atrocious. No awareness or IQ on that end. Can’t play make. So he isn’t Jesus lol. He also isn’t the best performing freshman. What about Mobley? What about Cade? Their impact for their teams have been much more significant then Cam as Lsu was already a good competitive team the last 4 years. Like the Kid but there’s a reason why people don’t see him as “Jesus”

People fail to realize that even tho cooper may be a good dribbler and passer, he doesnt have an nba offensive game as far as scoring and hes gonna be a major liability on defense due to his size, length, and instincts. the chris paul comparisons dont make sense cuz even he had an offensive arsenal and can defend like a 6'4 wing

Yea cam is one of those natural scorers with confidence you can’t teach. If he takes better shots and attack like you said he one of the best guards in the draft. Also his passing needs improvement, he needs to learn he can’t do everything by himself. Especially not at a NBA level.

Agreed. He can score bud he forces shots too often. His defense awareness and his defense in general is awful and can’t create much separation. It’s gonna set him back

I agree with this (not that he’ll never get drafted or ever get a two-way deal) but if his decision-making never improves he’d have to be an outlier catch & shoot threat to get any minutes... because as of now, he will take on multiple defenders, take a woefully inefficient shot, guard imaginary players-there are a lot of issues
