A lot of people failing to realize, I'm not just stating an obvious fact, I'm saying these are not the (2nd) popular albums of that year, but what has been popular since 2008, so can't be considered "in the last 70 years".

well given that "streaming" didn't exist until Napster, a more apt observation would be that this list doesn't include everytime the constituent songs have been listened to outside of streaming

I love how Pablo Honey is the 2nd most streamed album because of Creep. The other songs probably make up for only 5% of the streams

so true. It's crazy how underrated the rest of the album is, with songs like 'You' and 'Ripcord,' although the rest of their discography is a lot better.

Awesome seeing Queen on here twice, as deserved. Though THe Game isn't as good as their consistently great 70s output that garnered them the respect. Also seeing Buddy Holly here as with Who's Next made my day

Some of these albums are relative. CCR's Pendulum, and Pablo Honey for example only made this list thanks to streaming numbers of one song. CCR's Cosmo's Factory from the same year (1970) is far more popular than Pendulum.
