9 people get sentenced to 40 years because a cop was killed by friendly fire but nobody is charged when those same cops burned 5 children alive. Smh

Disgusting! Accusing and charging that man for killing a cop. But they killed children and adults.

My dad John O'Connor was editorial director of WCAU at the time. He was sympathetic and deplored racism. I recall he was aghast at the way Rizzo was conducting the police. He knew Rizzo was a racist. That was abundantly clear and nationally known. His editorials were tempered by the GM of WCAU who was hyper-sensitive to anything 'controversial' due to 'ratings'. No doubt the gunfire that started this violent confrontation did not come from the Move house. Someone escalated this on purpose. Not much has changed since then as we see systemic racism throughout our country. Shameful.

He did his time. He's not a violent man. I say let him be.

He never was, he was trying to live outside the system and in America you can't do that.

He is innocent of that crime he was charged for, and falsely convicted of. Period. Speak Truth. Or shut up (not you).

@@callmemonkh9020 Regardless, I'm glad he's out of jail. What happened in 1978 was horrible. But out of all the bad people in this country, I don't believe this man is nearly (in fact he's hardly bad at all) as bad as Dylann Fucking Roof or Thomas Blanton.

By the way, Thomas Blanton (KKK church bomber) died in prison in 2020. He died from COVID-19 after serving 19 years.

The portrayal of this story is disturbing. The police went messing with people, they killed women and children…. That’s cops blood is on the hands of his fellow cops!
