Nothing geological it's just surface run off from the highlands upande ya Eden and olive that is causing this sink holes. This water literally dig thru the sand and create hug gullies
@simenyasikhulu2 ай бұрын
@@bitsgraffix this can be addressed by proper agricultural and forestry management huko Eden. At least this is better than geoformations. Hii ni since it is manageable. God protect these people.

Yes. You are right. The beginning of the grate divide or split of the African continent into two. Nakuru is in the path of that tectonic plate which is splitting. Whatever we are seeing are forces down the earth surface breaking hence causing those sink holes and fault lines . Years to come,nakuru will be a sea connected from the réd sea from.Ethiopia,somalia ,Kenya and Tanzania following the rift valley area.
@shadora2 ай бұрын
That's a sinkhole, very dangerous. Tell those people to go far from that area. I got worried that they saw smoke as water went in! Don't play with sink holes😢
@mutuuramwangi19132 ай бұрын
What they are calling soil is actually volcanic ash deposited when volcanic eruptions occurred creating the Menengai. The ash is deep, probably extending several hundred meters, light and very unstable when wet. That explains the occasional deep cracks that open especially when it rains. The solution would be to avoid putting structures on it but that's unlikely to happen short of evacuating all of Nakuru district. The whole of Rift Valley is a seismic product, beautiful but dangerous, and still very much active.

Africa have been split bfor Year but bring water or ocean tentonic but residents vacate from until it happens ,so bu this formation is great but need equipment to scoop water out and or rebuild in top of it.like my comment, no problem africa government are always stupid sink holes band mud slide , rebuilding Africa is needed, earth formation are not prevention ,

Thankyuo for liking my comments thumbs up Africa continent need new style tentonic or the splitting of Africa no a problem but need equipment not money the government need to unite stop stupid of separation they not only that need infructure , traffic lights ,stop bringing china to build Africa and house.like additional comments thumbs up, aconclude rebuild resources for emergency

Most parts of Nakuru and especially around Njoro and Kaptembwa is full of natural fault lines. Sooner or later, the cracks will increase in intensity and create gaping waterways. In the near future, say about *X* years from now, the great rift valley from Ethiopia to Mozambique will be covered with water dividing Africa into two distinct parts.
