The problem is with Wilder is that he's finally fighting guys ranked inside the top 10, which he barely ever did when he was a champion and he's now being forced to do it because he's no longer a champion in order to get some Saudi money and he's doing it while he's shot and past his best. The fury beatings took it out of him both physically and mentally. He should of fought AJ for undisputed back in 2020 instead of giving Fury a Rematch. He would of earnt more money in a more significant fight. His ego fumbled his career

AJ would have sent him into the shadow realm probably a good job he decided to fight fury again because his knockout power isn’t as strong as AJ’s

@@YGee3Mx I don't disagree. AJ would of won but what I am saying is Wilder had his chance to fight for the undisputed crown at the height of his career but he chose to give fury a rematch when he didn't have too instead which is when his entire career fell apart

I'm glad Wilder and Fury had a rematch because it ended up giving us the trilogy fight which was one of the most exciting fights ever but yes I do wish Wilder would've fought AJ because it would've been an intriguing fight

Deontay Can’t because he’s in Denial of what happened in those Fury fights. He fired Mark because he thought he was plotting against him and he’s trained wilder since the Olympic days. Deontay never wanted to do the road work and invest himself into learning the skills for him to be a better fighter than he is now. Retire he has had a good career made a lot of money and he overachieved with how late he started in the game and with one right hand. Lost wherever he fought the best guys but was a good fighter nevertheless.

I would suggest Bud Crawford's team or Teddy Atlas for Wilder. That being said, I would like to see Deonte retire. He earned a bronze medal in the Olympics, became Heavyweight Champion and has made a lot of money. He had a good boxing career.

Only thing I hate for wilder , is leaving mark breland & his old team. They kno him best. Untrainable , but what that taught him, teach him, preped him for a fight. Was the dangerous, explosive, fast & quick wilder. Instead of going after fury for 5ive years. 2 or 3 years prior he tried to fight anyone in the division. Even Parker, ruiz, & aj. If I'm not mistaken povetikin but it was so many failed drug tests , & years past because he already started late for his daughter. I'm proud if he retires & tries to make a come back, but please get rid of Malik. Teddy, mayweather, Crawford, breland is his best options

If in Deonte Wilder's heart he still wants to continue boxing, he would need dedicate himself to boxing 100%. First he needs a really good trainer, maybe Teddy Atlas. A trainer that can teach him the basics. Lastly he would need to start over, fight low level opponents for several fight to build his skills and confidence.

LMAO. I been here laughing at the same reason. Joshua got his ass kicked by Andy Ruiz! Who nobody knew at the time. He barely won the rematch! He had it to win it on points by running away and hitting from a distance - not actually fighting. He then got his ass kicked by Usyk twice in a row and started crying, but because his promoted and management team are in the inner circle, they covered everything up for him and managed to get him 3 easy fights to build him back up (not many fighters are this fortunate). Now he is suddenly this great fighter again LOL. I also know for a FACT that Joshua and Eddie Hearn intentionally avoided Wilder all those years back. They did NOT want to fight him at all. Everybody wants to fight Wilder now because they can see he is past his best and lacking. Wilder always had heart, he always gets back up, that is why I rate him, but in all honestly he should retire because his time in boxing is up.
