Tbh it’s more like this - all fighters have injuries & stuff always. Throughout your career. Both sides probably were just saying what happened. If you win. Your a warrior because you pushed through anyway. If you lose it’s an excuse. The truth. It’s just sport. The body breaks down sometimes. I had over 70 amateur fights about 30 years ago say a young man. About 60% of the time my best would get left in the gym. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wasn't keen on Junior until a few years ago when I realised he's a pantomime villain but a good guy underneath, and really fun and entertaining. Also a proper fighter who does live the life properly. Fantastic to see his performance last night.

That was no masterclass. Thats was a complete sh1t show from Smith. Not knocking Chris because he did what he should but its not like it was a close or technical fight in any way. Beating up on someone who's pretty much just standing there isn't hard but like I say thats no detrement to Chris - he didn't get chance to show much off because there just wasn't any real opposition to do it with.

I made it 12-3 so we're close enough. I wouldn't be gloating so much over a win on someone who was hardly moving but it was nice to see him looking sharp and doing the job well.
