What Mahadev had was Gaana's or somewhat aliens to earth , as Mahadev was not born on this earth. He did his tapasya on this earth until the mankind evolved and he found Mata Parvati. The chief of Gaana s head was replaced with Mangal murti son of Parvati which is why he is called Gaanapati or Ganpati....

I think this is bhikshatan avatar of shiva when he cutted lord brahma fifth head which used to facing upwards that head stick to his hand and he was punished for acted unknowly so he came to earth and lived as beggar whenever he ask for food as bhikasha brahma used to eat (yes his head is still attached to lord shiva hand). So shiva stirved for long and then he asked help to goddess Lashmi and she in the form of Annapurna (some text shows that she is Parvati and some she is lakshmi. So it various as per text ) give bhiksha to lord shiva and lord brahma started eating it and then at one he was not able to eat so food came out of his mouth as well as the head was detached from shiva hand and lord shiva 's punishment was over and he can finally eat food .

Shiva is divine. I was attending a Navaratri in my gurus Ashram. On the last day I'm sitting on the ground with my zhuru across the room there was a huge Lingam in front we all sang gir days before this when I closed my eyes Shiva appeared in front of me. He was shining with white light I bowed down in front of him he had his arms open I sat up floated up to him facing him face to face I wrapped my arms around him and I said take me to your world . At that moment a white light emitted from his forehead grow bigger and bigger then I was brought back. My guru was looking at me. She fell into a blissful state. He is so divine

In our culture (Bengal...it maybe in other cultures too idk), there's a story that once Maa Annadatri blessed and gave Shiva a bowl of rice, so that his household flourishes. So in a lot of sculptures or pictures we show the bowl. I dont know if it's the same with this sculpture. And also I don't know the whole story, only a bit of it so I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Shiva is from the holy trinity and was formed even before the universe was formed. The bells are there because he is also PashupatiNath (pashu = cattle/animal naath= lord). That bowl in his hand is not begging bowl, it carries somras which is favourite drink of shiva. He is also called Somnath for this same reason.

That's his dance pose. Apparently there is a special dance "tandav" done by him that has a special meaning from a spiritual perspective. You might want to read up on it if you're interested

It's called urthuva thandavam. When there was a dance competition between goddess kali and lord shiva, lord shivas earring fell down and he took the earring and put it in his ears without stopping the dance. So he won the competition. He is called "oorthuva thandava moorthy"

It's Lord Shiva's ghungroo, he was a dancer. I think in ancient times may be both dancers used to wear ghungroo (bells) both on neck and around ankles.

Such people are called “Mendicants”. Do not demean them by your ignorance and call them “beggars”. Self-denial and self-humiliation are forms of penance. Hey it's based on mythological story that,, Brahma and Vishnu wanted to prove who was mightier amongst,,to resolve it Lord Shiva took the form of mighty shivling extending to the length of infinity and told them to find the ends Lord Brahma went to find the tip and Vishnu to reach the base but none of them succeeded,,,,,by this lord Vishnu concluded that it must be some maaya of bholenath hence he tied a bell to the level he had reached and returned,,but Brahma lied of reaching the tip and made a scandal,,,, Being impressed by lord Vishnu's honesty Mahadev wears the bell around the calf 🙏🙏
