The Japanese bonsai industry is in a difficult situation right now.
Revenues have declined due to the declining population, and there is a shortage of bonsai garden successors.

Nice to see the approach grafts in use, I have some maples but they don't have branches where I really need them, will try this technique.

Very very happy to get to watch this video and see his skill. Unfortunately a lot of the subtitles were hard to understand so I didn’t fully understand how and why he was doing different things. But thanks a lot for working hard to make this content 🙏🏻

I would love to see videoes o About mame bonsai pottery! The pots is such an important part of bonsai and I would love to learn about how artist make mini bonsai pots and paint them and so on. Haruyoshi is one of my favourite bonsai artist both for his pots and trees 😊

@@bonsai_q Even in the USA, English is a problem for most English native speakers, haha, same problem! Bonsai has it's own language in Japan and there are no specific English words to translate. Good reason to learn Japanese and the terms for bonsai.

いつも楽しく拝見しています。タイトルに秘伝と書かれております通り、素人の僕にとりましては目が点でありました。昔なら絶対に公開しないであろう技術を公開して下さるやじま園さんの太っ腹ぶりには感謝しかありませんがそれを分かち合えるようにして下さる盆栽Qさんにも感謝しております。小品には個人的にはあまり興味がないものの、庭木として植えたいと思っているモミジ。海外に居る為、なかなか良いモノが売られていません。ほとんどが伸ばし放題に伸ばしたモノばかり。間延びした木がほとんどなので大きい木でもこの技術が使えるのか実験してみたいと思っています。
