I've been waiting for Maude to return it's been way too long. WHAT THE SKRULL man this episode was a banger of surprises and I never thought the death of Maria Hill would leave me in tears.

The MCU loves to show the fans that they see what we’re saying. They made a point of showing in the first episode that the person we most bet would be revealed to be a Skrull was Maria Hill and said “Nope”.

What an amazing pilot episode. It's trippy to see Samuel L. Jackson lead a project after being in the MCU for 15 years. I LOVED how super serious it is. For the record, unlike critics and "fans", I've enjoyed the different variety of content from the MCU post-Endgame. The death of Maria Hill??? Goddamn! For a recurring side character who didn't have a meaty role throughout, her death was the last thing I expected. Also, that A.I. opening credit sequence was creepy AF. When it comes to Emilia Clarke, I have a feeling that, knowing what happened to her mother, she switches sides before the show is over. Can't wait for next week!

They showed us the Presidential portraits in the White House but the order they were shown to us on screen was interesting Jimmy Carter(39th), Richard Nixon(37th), Ronald Regan(40th). But Gerald Ford (38th) was omitted, was this an mistake or a hint that this isn’t the same universe/Earth as ours? Just something interesting I noticed. Or was Ford not a Skrull?

My biggest predictions for Skrulls is Val, Thaddeus Ross, Wilson Fisk, Matt Murdock, Maya (Echo), and Rhodey. Sam Wilson as well could be a skrull.

Also what nobody's mentioned is, the fact that Fury bugged the room with a Contact Lense...like pattinsons batman, Furys "Blind Eye" isn't really blind and he can review footage of his POV

I’m no theorist or anything but Enemy of the State has been credited with helping usher in all of the surveillance stuff that we have nowadays. That it made it easier for the public to palate because we were prepped by that movie. Wouldn’t be that weird if it was happening with aliens now lol

Giah told us that New Skrullos has a population of around 500; there are not millions of Skulls on Earth. And in Captain Marvel, Talos said that there were thousands scattered to the stars. It does not seem like their population is massive.

Avengers earth’s mightiest heroes adapted secret invasion sooo well, and that captain America episode where he’s a prisoner with the other people who have been replaced, some good some bad,is what I want to see in this but obviously with whoever as the prisoner, they have to escape, make it back to earth and convince everyone they’re not skrulls😂 while trying to figure out who isn’t as well

I don't know if it works this way, but could a Skrull be recognized if it would lose a limb or finger or something while being a human? That the lost limb or finger would transform back into a Skrull limb or finger, because it dies off. Would be an interesting way to recognize Skrulls by cutting a finger off😂

That scene where the bad guy switches multiple times also make me think of the 1998 movie Fallen. There’s a very similar scene in that movie.

Gravix said that Nick Fury went up to the sword space station almost as soon as he got back from his intergalactic search for a new Skrullos. OG Nick Fury has probably spent the better part of the last 3 decades in space. I think the biggest question is how well Skrulls can tell each other apart from humans. The answer to that could drastically shift the scale of the invasion.

I really hope we get an answer how the so called "bad Skrulls" travel, because my only gripe with the episode was that G'iah travelled like 2 or 3 times back-and-forth in a day between Moscow and the Skrull base which was 300+ kilometers (186 miles) from the former. 300km on russian roads would take circa 5 hours.

Question: Soren was filling in as Maria Hill in spiderman far from home, right? So where was Maria? Has Soren been Maria the whole time? Who died ? I'm confused!

I think the main question is WHEN a character is changed to a Skrull. what if the Countess is working with the Skrulls and she "gave" them Ross and at the post credit scene, the imposter Ross was saved... the Countess/CIA would love the chaos that Gravik's plan would bring. Think when was Ross "important" enough to be impersonated by the Skrulls ?

I can see Helen Cho being a skrull and having a child with a kree and making MCU Hulking and Amedaeus Cho be one

You could potentially see skrulls in Thunderbolts as if Martin Freeman and Val both are skrulls they could get 'back together' and or val is a skrull and commands them. This is would explain maybe why they get seen as the anti-heros and overthrow val and/or become independent and because the sokovia accords don't matter anymore they do whatever they want and potentially there could end up being a villian for spiderman in spiderman 4 as they are all street villains and would create a lot of interconectivity

What If Fury is playing everyone? He playing like he's out of shape with a limp and not on top of his game. But what if he is and is 3 steps ahead. What If Maria Hill was a Skrull that is working with the enemy, and that shot to the gut was a setup. Maybe he knew by offering her something she hates like the popcorn he was eating, she was like "hmm, yeah okay" He might be suspicious of Talos too. I don't know but the show is off to a great start.

two things, one is that I had that conspiracy theory where movies are being used to get the populace used to aliens back when Independance Day came out. and second, Maude and Hector need to be sporting Geek Gear

Eric, what happened during the blip. This is what happened, the Skrulls took over since half of humanity was wiped away, we can thank Thanos for that. So they took over and blended into society.
