6 жыл бұрынHorses are amazing creatures and certainly to watch them play is something extraordinary. It's a magical moment when a half-ton animal jumps playfully up the air like a little kitten...
All horses here are adult horses, the youngest are Corona and Blue they are 9 year old. On a quiet evening, all of them get into this playful behavior and they take off running across the meadow bucking and jumping... for no apparent reason. My best explanation is that they are happy and in an excellent mood, they
exuburantly release energy with this kind of play.
Extra credit to Corona who was fully involved with me in making this video ..

Like the birds in the sky they have what’s called murmuration flying in a patterned unison looking joyful, the horses do similarly running out a pattern of twists and turns . . . How lovely.

Every work day, I drive by a gelding who spends his life either locked in a cold, damp stall or penned in an often muddy 20' x 20' pen. I think he gets ridden maybe once a month. It breaks my heart not only that he is alone, but that he never runs free like these beautiful, lucky creatures. People don't appreciate horses.

I the wild you might not see this as often. Limited food resources. They will not want to expend energy unnecessarily. On your place, food is plentiful. They feel safe.

Wide open spaces. Good chance to stretch their legs, back. Feels good. Horses do so here often.
