A cocktail secret liquid fertilizer as a foliar spray will instantly boost flowering and plant growth. This organic fertilizer recipe will not only make your plant grow faster, but also produces loads of flowering and fruiting. Also you will learn how to make compost tea and what is foliar spray in this video.
Well, before I show you the actual recipe or the Formula for the making of our so called magic solution, you must know some Basic concepts. Please do not skip these 5 points am gonna discuss now. Will try to make it as short and as simple as possible, specially for beginners.
Everything you see in the video are based on scientific concepts and research. The main advantage of this magic foliar spray is that its independent of your soil ph.
Well, before I show you the actual recipe or the Formula for the making of our so called magic solution, you must know some Basic concepts. Please do not skip these 5 points am gonna discuss now. Will try to make it as short and as simple as possible, specially for beginners.
1. What do you mean by foliar Spray? Foliage means leaves! So the term foliar spray says it all.
2. Next Point is about Calcium and Its importance.
3. Next Point is about Magnesium and Its importance.
4. Soil PH concept: Video at • PERFECT SOIL PH: 10 Na...
5. And last concept: Many Experts recommend applying egg shells andcalcium tablets to soil and some evenmake a smoothie juice or paste using all kitchen waste like banana peels, fruit peels and what not. This in perhaps unscientific according to me to directly apply to your plants. I don’t know! If you have any scientific explanation to this, please do write in the comment box. What I feel is why not utilize this idea of making this smoothie and keeping a dedicated heavy duty blender or mixer for this purpose for faster composting. Yes! if you are adding this paste to your compost bin and feeding your earth worms, this can accelerate composting process.
Well, Now moving on to the Formula or the recipe of this Magic Fertilizer liquid. I will quickly list out the ingredients one by one and quickly explain the benefit of each of these components.
PLEASE WATCH VIDEO FOR THE RECIPE (FORMULA).
So you can utilize this concept if your plants are not performing well despite all your efforts, care, fertilizing, watering promptly and what not! Many viewers keep asking the same question. So why not make it a habit of alternating your feeds - that’s fertilizing your plants once in 15 days with foliar spray to feed your plants. Because this idea is independent of soil PH value.

I blend my kitchen scraps then put it a 5-gallon bucket with water, after few days I drain the water and water my plants, the thick stuff goes into composter then the garden beds. The decomposing process is way faster that way, meanwhile the flowers enjoy the Vitamin Water before the decomposing process even begins. beautifully and look very healthy.

Excellent video and information. We live in the city and our water is treated with chlorine and other chemicals intended to kill microbial life. When making our compost tea, we do a process called out gassing to remove these chemicals from our "universal solvent" ! ( I love that!) Reason being that if you use the treated water without out gassing much of the beneficial microbial life in the compost you add will be killed slowing down the process. If your water source is treated you may consider researching out gassing city water for more information. We have been very glad we did! Keep up the great videos! Thank you

My late wife was the gardener, not me, but I helped when I could, She used to grow a lot of our own veggies, and a few fruits, and we were both avid composters,, however, we were told not to try to compost banana skins, as in fact they do rot. And of course the usual no no's for the composter were onions, garlic or any citrus fruits.

Jan S'field Please can you explain how you feed your roses with the banana 🍌 skins
@barbaragordon477
@barbaragordon477 4 жыл бұрын
@@Jilbab9 did Jan ever answer? I have been using banana peels in my garden this summer and have found it helpful too. What I do is this: in a gallon of water add 3 banana peels cut into 2 inch pieces (more or less - size is not critical), cover and leave for a week. Strain liquid and discard peel. Dilute remaining liquid with an equal amount of water. Pour into the soil at the base of the plant. I do this weekly. All of my plants are in containers so how much I add to each plant depends on the size of the individual container and how the plant is doing (struggling plants or ones in a growth spurt get more.) I know that this is not terribly precise but it's like cooking in that way - if you like oregano add more; if you don't like garlic then leave it out. Best of luck.

Urine is good for nitrogen diluted if u but urea which is a high source of nitrogen comes mostly from harvested horse urine. You can used banana peelers chopped up and soaked in water and strained for potassium . Bone meal I your planting holes for phosphorous wood ashes are good to raise ph and either potassium or phosphorus I don’t remember which , also unflavored gelatin is good for nitrogen . Prepare according to directions just don’t refrigerate it to make it gel . Hair is good to keep deer away ammonia diluted is good for nitrogen and full strength sprayed around garden perimeter will keep skunks out . Another tip is put Grigio killer in your garden and your lawn . Skunks eat grubs like candy and will dig up you lawn and garden to get them . Also if you have trouble keeping your young plants alive and you get dead spots in your lawn it’s because the grubs snack on your plant roots you garden will love you for it . One year I had to throw out my lettuce cause a skunk must have strolled through my garden and the smell and taste ruined my lettuce . Thanks for listening . I’m no expert only 70 yrs of experience

i have been tought by Gary Matsuoka that a dilute spray of sugar and seaweed and some fertiliser is what they use to grow those giant pumpkins, if they dont spray they cant get over 200 pounds, something like that, seaweed apparently makes leaves big so that might have something to do with the flowering more

Are you overfeeding perhaps ? I wouldnt use commercial products i much prefer to make my own compost, or manure well rotted , and blood , fish and bone works well. K

Stomata in leaves open and close to allow the intake of carbon dioxide and the release of oxygen, they do not absorb liquid. This is like trying to drink water through your nose. Very few plant, mainly in desert/arid areas absorb some water through them
@delphzouzou4520
@delphzouzou4520 5 жыл бұрын
This is very untrue. Foliar feeding is a well know and studied practice. The salts dissolved in the water are very well absorbed. There is even a better absorbtion when the ph of the solution is acid. Also, plants sweat, by the leaves. Sweat is water.

There is no nonsense in this video. However, I would like to see a group of plants (say tomatoes) treated with the foliar spray and an ordinary cultured group of tomatoes under the same conditions and same period of time. From this video I cannot tell whether the spray is favorable or not. Maybe your next project? It would be interesting. Another thing is that to have full benefit of the stomata you have to put the plants upside down since they are on the back of the leave.

How long do you recommend boiling egg shells to get the calcium out and into the water? These are egg shells I save from scrambled eggs etc to put into compost. The boiling calcium out sounds very interesting as I was just reading about egg shells taking a long time to add any calcium to your plants when adding them directly to the soil.

I think 4 to 5 eggs per gallon sufficient. The more egg the more calcium. All organic stuff no much side effect of overuse.👍
