Poor Jinny crying at the end :((( for any of you who don’t know, as a trainee, Jinny was going to debut in BlackPink, but for some reason didn’t make it. She must have spent the last years watching BP grow and become extremely successful, while she was still stuck as a trainee, having to suffer through the harsh industry. Knowing she was so close to her dream, how she could‘ve been in one of the biggest Kpop groups must have really crushed her. We can only imagine how deeply she must have been scarred from this, perhaps blaming herself, suffering from lack of confidence, constantly wondering if she’d done something wrong and that was why she was still a trainee. I think that scene at the end where Denise describes her crying as ‘overcoming the hardness’ shows how much SN has meant to her. This debut is her finally being allowed to take the next step in her dreams, and finally feeling validated for all her hard work and being able to let go of that suffering in the past. Her crying is her letting all the pain out and letting it go, finally achieving her dream. When Denise says ‘she loves me’ I think she’s showing that all of SN are now here for her, most of them are long-time rookies too, (who have also had similar stories of struggling and rejection in the industry) but as part of SN, they have now all been accepted into the world they dreamed of.
