Composed by Hiroki Kikuta. Recreated by me. This was made possible by locating the original instrument samples from workstation keyboards and drum machines before they were put into the game and rebuilding the soundtrack from the ground up, applying some modern mixing techniques along the way to lift the veil of 16bit compression and create an updated listening experience. The gameplay is authentic, someone who plays it for the first time and learns the game mechanics while playing.

@@Chraan True, and it still makes me die inside because spam attacking something for 0-1 damage repeatedly and not instantly learning that is a horrible idea shows zero gameplay ability, new or otherwise.
