Secret Santa surprises man with new prosthetic leg and pays off his house

Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!
The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many people as he can.
We will be surprising deserving people and families every day from now until Christmas with gifts unique to their circumstances.
Kerry Bailey worked as the head mechanic at Big O Tires for around 28 years to support his family. Four years ago, he ended up with blood clots in his right leg that led to an amputation below his knee. As a result, Kerry lost his job.
Due to the stump of Kerry's leg shrinking, he needs a new prosthetic leg to help him get around better and without so much discomfort. Kerry wants to support his family and always has a smile on his face.
When Secret Santa heard about Kerry, he asked us to go deliver a special gift to his family. Watch the video above to see the surprise!

In Canada a car accident or heart attack won't bankrupt you like it does to many people here in America. THAT'S the big difference right there and why I'd take Canadian healthcare over American healthcare any day. Obviously the wait times and non-emergency care is ass. But in America many of us are one random emergency away from being destitute. That just doesn't happen in places like Canada or the UK despite the other issues with their healthcare. American healthcare is indeed unacceptable for that reason alone. Crowder is a dumb fuck who lives in the pocket of the Koch brothers.

I remember when my grandpa needed a new leg, it got to the point he was not able to use his anymore and could not afford a new one and had to use a wheelchair full-time. It is good to see this man get a new one paid for, so he can continue to walk. That's awesome, thank you secret Santa!

Wonderful story again! Approx. 4 years ago my BIL lost his leg above the knee and a year before, a close friend and fellow softball player also lost his leg above the knee. Prosthetic legs will cost in the tens of thousands of dollars depending on the technology that goes into them. Because my friend participated in many softball charity events with Wounded Warriors, they were able to provide him with his second prosthetic free of charge. While used, it was still heads above what he was currently fitted with. He's currently waiting for an even more advance prosthetic which will have digital adjustments and give him more freedom of movement with the leg.

You could tell he's a kind-hearted man by his voice and demeanor, not to mention helping a neighbor with $1,700.00. That's not a small amount of money for anyone.

This is amazing! I know a man in Michigan who is just like this. He's worked his entire life, is now retired and has always helped others in need. A year ago he was diagnosed with cancer and had a series of surgeries, and now while recovering and his home needing a new roof that insurance didn't cover as it wasn't an "act of God" according to his adjuster, bills are tight for he and his wife. Even with insurance medical bills are high, so it would be cool for someone like him who never asks for anything to have a Secret Santa like this.

This truly warms my heart to see people still being so kind during a time like this, my wife and I are in our own troubles due to losing my job during COVID we are getting ready to be evicted next week while my wife is also 4 and a half months pregnant. It may be a tough for us but seeing things like this really do give a lot of hope of things being able to have a positive outcome.to anyone that reads this I hope you have nothing but peace and positivity around you.
