i saw a video where they (police-?) first interact with the gunman (& report suspicious activity, but ‘lose him in the crowd’) when he has a ‘rangefinder’ he is using in the arena, to calculate the distance of a shot. The videos are clearly being scrubbed off the internet, but it does exist.😬

I think this story is inaccurate. I could be wrong but I dont think he was on the roof 20 mins . I think now seeing footage after the fact we can see him acting suspicious 20 minutes before on the ground. SS probably should have law enforcement question him earlier if they did feel he was acting suspicious but didn't? Assuming the recognized which imo they should have since their job is to spot anomalies and this one should have stood out. Maybe it was because he was so far outside the secure zone on the ground they didn't feel him to be a threat at that time.

SS failing to do their only job by not securing a significant enough space for their 'perimeter' is ridiculous & proof that they don't know what the hell they're doing at all. The only reason Trump is alive is because that coward couldn't shoot. They prevented nothing, which was literally their sole job, they get paid pretty well for their inadequacies.
