⭐ About Travel Beans:
Welcome to the official Travel Beans KZfaq channel! On this channel, you’ll find a variety of travel and vlog content, in which you’ll see us in places like Thailand, Japan, USA, Slovenia, and more.
In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head-on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

What a fun video! I cannot believe Alex had never been to Stonehenge! I had an obsession with it when I was a child and as soon as I crossed the pond, that was #1 on my list. I love all that mystical stuff and I would have loved a "henge tour". I had actually heard of Woodhenge before 😉, but I promise only because of all my school projects on Stonehenge. Fun to see you traveling around in the van. So much to explore!

Can't recommend it enough with stunning history, buildings & walks along with the stunning Kennett & Avon canal. Loved being called a Beanstalk ❤️ Sorry Emma - I saw the face you pulled but I like it! 👍 BUT your face at 10:26 is even better. Very much loled there!!! 🤣 If you guys enjoyed visiting these places, you must make it up to the Isle of Lewis in the campervan. Callanish Standing Stones are stunning, unlike Stonehenge are free and you can walk in amongst them. There's the Blackhouses at Arnol and Gearrannan, a broch and a reconstructed Iron Age house on Bernera (and that's before you take into consideration the wild eagles, stunning seafood and picture postcard beaches!)

Little Beanstalks, love it!!! Never heard of Silbury Hill, had to look it up. I read where several tunnels were dug but they are collapsed now, nothing ever found. I was on an organized tour and never saw Woodhenge. They may be walking barefoot because they are "earthing" or grounding with the earth's surface. We had to do a slow drive-by of Stonehenge because that year there was a severe run of foot and mouth disease among the livestock and they were afraid of foot traffic spreading it. So gald you took us on this tour, thanks! Take care you two.

I've been to this area 2 years ago, with my sister. Like real proper tourists whe went to Stonehenge. If we only knew about all the stones around it, it would've saved us lot of money.... Just discovered your video's, I love them! My sister would've too. Sadly she passed away 2 months ago. She's the one I always went to England with. I promised her to take the rocks back that she 'stole' from the beaches at Whitby. She wanted to put them back herself on our planned holiday in 2020. Corona f*cked it up. Now it's my job, I'll bring them back, don't worry. I might go back to the New Forest area one day, just to trace our last holiday together. I will keep in mind the free stones.

Last time I visited Stonehenge it was free, except a charge for the car park, one could also walk amongst the stones, no heritage centre or café just a van in the car park selling tea, coffee and sandwiches, I think it was an ex wartime WVS/NAAFI van. ("Tea, no sugar and a cheese wad, please"). It was still noisy from the A303 running past just far less traffic. Roll on the tunnel, it might become a peaceful place again. It was over 60 years ago though.

You can visit Stonehenge for free on any day. I know because I made a video about it. There’s a free footpath that runs right alongside the paid one. The only difference is it’s £21 cheaper, you’re a few metres further away from the rocks and any exhibition stuff isn’t included. And it doesn’t close so early.
@smokinrider
@smokinrider 3 жыл бұрын
It’s a byway not a footpath and you can drive on it and park there. Only idiots pay to see something that was given to the public for free access. And £40. Shove that. Surprised they didn’t wild camp there on the byway with the hippies.
@havisiting
@havisiting 3 жыл бұрын
@@smokinrider when Cecil Chubb gifted Stonehenge to the nation in 1918 he asked that visitors be charged no more than one shilling to enter. By today’s money that’s a little short of £3, so yes, £20 is daylight robbery. I don’t blame anyone for paying though if they want to get a littler closer. I just don’t think the extra metres are worth the extra money

Oh nice one. I've been but wasn't very impressed compared to skara brae and the ring of brodgar in orkney, orkney eagle's tomb. Many are Older then stonehenge and you can up to it. In my opinion so much better and well less know and less tourist. Done it as a de-tour when doing the nc500, best do your ever👍

I visited Stonehenge in 2017. It was a bucket list item for me and so amazing to see it in person. My wife was unimpressed and called it "a bunch of fucking rocks". LOL!
