One screw removed through one of those slots lets you remove the priming grip and sled assembly and lets you pull out the spring.

Wow very interesting I didn't expect Xshot would have a secret thing in their new blaster I'm sure this will help a lot especially with modders looking to increase the performance of this new blaster

I know right - and I think the spring will come out too, just need to work that one out. I'm enjoying the short reviews on your channel, have you thought about capping them at 1min and doing them as KZfaq Shorts?

@@fixitanyway4018 nice work, i was honestly skeptical but this new video shows some new light, can you keep investigating the system you found? Im hoping eventually you'll be the first to show how and what springs to go inside (a buy link for springs makes things easier too!)

“A real SCAR barrel” points a a BCAR.

Lol, this is true - I find it really hard to say BCAR, so I just call them all scar barrels. If the injection moulded one works then I'll probably call that a "real" SCAR barrel too (despite having no strings). That one looks a little loose to me - need to test

@@fixitanyway4018 Yea, I heard they are very loose. And tbh, I just say Bearing Scar. It is a bit weird to say BCAR for some reason.

@@fixitanyway4018 it's like quick spring relase for airsoft,a simply trick that avoids to work on a too many screws. Really smart.

@@luigi7112 aaaah I didn't know airsoft replicas had that. The plunger in the X-Shot Longshot runs on the barrel, so its useful to be able to remove the barrel to clean and lubricate it

@@fixitanyway4018 yes,but not all the gearbox (if remember only by gen 3),and if you'll see any photo you'll notice many parts that only waits a spring to jump anywere in the universe (true story),so removing piston spring it's a great help. Yeah,i only hope the barrel doesn't take too volume into the plunger. But it's great to easy clean and manutention. Ps:i installed an airsoft spring into the buttstock of last stand,with some reinforcement,it'f fit pretty well.

the scar that it comes with has no effect on the dart and is most likely hurting the overall performance. would have helped if the darts actually touched the rifling. darts will pass right through when dropped by hand.

Yeah, I noticed that in my main video about this blaster - shame as an moulded scar could've been good. I mean, they make the darts so they could've made it fit them perfectly

The assumption is that the darts don't deviate when they leave the actual barrel and make contact with the rifling. I'm sure it wouldn't make much difference if they did, but without actually testing it, there's no way to be 100% sure. I'm sure some people have demonstrated you can add on a scar without doing this mod though.

You're right, taking it to extremes - if darts were fired through a SCAR that was a few inches away (assuming that aligned perfectly) I bet there would be some deviation In my other blasters I try to butt the SCAR up to the end of the barrel
