Not long after seeing this video I actually dreamed of going to this area in real life except it was daytime

I did got there playing years ago in ps, that room looked scary , tomb raider scares more than other games

This was either made as a joke, "The Boob Room!" or the previous texture was replaced somewhere during development with this woman and this little temple was forgotten, the texture never changed.

Creepy. Especially that dark alleyway to the right before you enter. Would’ve liked to see the original poster go check that out.

I remember cheating in the game and found this. I'm pretty sure it's to scare cheaters because it scared the shit out of me

It's not fake. Of course you cannot remember this because it's not a part of the intended gameplay. You cannot even rech this place without a position editor. This is AFTER you slide down at the end of the great pyramid and the next level loads. You have to use a position editor to get yourself back to where you came from in the previous level and there is it. Check it yourself If you want to, I didn't edit anything in the level.

This area was never meant to be found, hence logic can not get you here, however creativity and a position editor can.

This is the room where that has a trapdoor that contains a large med pack. The texture was replaced with that one once you go to the next level. You can find that texture during the Great Pyramid on one of the walls if you manage to go all the way to the other side (it's possible).

Its not a secret temple its just the building with the trapdoor where you get a Large Medipack in the Great Pyramid.

For some reason this reminds me of the Midas wall texture from Tomb Raider I. There's a distinctive Palace Of Midas texture from the level, which you can actually see in the ceiling of the top right corner of the big room in the level before, Colloseum

Yes, you are right, that is in level 32: The Great Pyramid when Lara have to kill the giant beetles and enter the building with the trapdoor.

I never beat tomb raider 4. I got so fucking far and decided it was a good idea to use a cheat and it corrupted everything. never played it since. that was 16 years ago lol

I don't think it's possible to do this with the psx version. You would need to edit the save game file

I am wondering how you success making it over such a distance onto that further edge without falling down to that dark pit to hit yourself in the deep and die after jumping like this.. is it just something like a bug in that level leading you automatically to there or you provide it using another program?

Did you read the description before accusing me, idiot? You cannot reach this building without a position editor, so just because you didn't bump into this in your playthrough, that doesnt mean this is fake. Install the damn game, use level skipping cheats, download the lara position editor and see for yourself that it's right there. If you have the psx version there is no way for you to edit a savegame. You need the PC version.
