Playstation Remote Play on Asus ROG Ally [ via reWASD paid app ] - Without PS4/PS5 Controller
In this video, I will be showing you how you can use reWASD app (paid - $7) to play playstation 4 or playstation 5 games via remote play app on your ASUS ROG ALLY at 10w or 15w. This process is better than using Chiaki as the stability and performance (mainly related to sound) is superiour in my opinion.

I followed the video and can’t get it to work. I have it set up and when remote play is on, even an icon of a controller pops up. But still no input. Help!

This worked great, finally! The tutorial we needed. Also be sure to turn the ROG gamepad mode to control mode and not auto or desktop. So happy this works. Thank you!

Works great. Recommend buying the advanced. Added buttons for the track pad swiping for ghost of tsushima.

any idea on what to do if it worked for a day then stopped? ive tried everything from applying to slot one again and again to restarting the ally. should i uninstall then re install?

How do you use the touch gestures of the ps controllers which is needed for games like Ghost of Tsushima ? The ones thag we swipe with our fingers in the touch pad of the ps controller

chiaki you can just swipe the screen to mimic it (so far)

PS Remote Play has a virtual touchpad you can use for this, I've used it for Spider Man 2 which has some touchpad swipe functions. Just touch the top center part of the screen and the touchpad will appear.

The UI is absolute trash on the app. I spent ages trying to get it to work using different profiles, but the thing I was missing was that I had to click on Apply to Slot 1 which seems to be a button as well as a drop down. I was then asked to restart my Ally and it worked great after that

Is this still working for you? I followed instructions, but can't get it to work. I even bought a USB hub with a 2.0 input because I read that was the solution. That didn't work either. I can control the Playstation menus, but when I go into game, controls don't work

Did you find any kind of delay in the commands? I managed to make it work on steam deck with your help... But I'm facing a few seconds of delay in commands even though I'm on a 5ghz wifi...

Few seconds? That's a lot bro. I'm not facing any delay on the ROG Ally. It's like playing on the native device actually.

Any idea how i can fix my problem. The rog ally controls work on the menu but not in game. Also, is it a requirement to connect a keyboard and mouse?

@@nico.vargasi figured it out, when you are in Rewasd, set the ally to controller mode (not automatic or dektop) and then click on Apply In Slot 1. that worked for me

You'll have to click the switch off icon on lower right side of the app. Or kill the app in order to return to the default controller behaviour.

Chiaky doesn't work anymore on my PS4 they must of block it with the new update of PlayStation 10.50 I have a steam deck n it does not work it tells me streaming connect fot disconnected
