This is one of Kristen's funniest characters. We all know these types of 'show-pony' people, and she spoofs her so well

She started playing Mindy Grayson, with the the jutting jaw and wondrous expression. It was brilliant. Then she sort of abandoned that version of the character, as would happen to someone who often appeared on the same show. But she repaid us with more brilliant renditions of her stage performances. The skit stopped being anything but just a platform for her comic genius.

Funnily enough, there was an actress that actually did do the outright-saying-the-word on the actual game show Password! It was Bea Benaderet, most known for voicing Betty Rubble on The Flinstones

@@ihavefallenandicantreachmy2113 Two shows that I've never heard of before are likely less famous than the Flintstones, and by proxy it's stars will be more famous too. Even if you don't like animation, you have to admit that the Flintstones is a fan favourite for a lot of people and is a lot more iconic than "Petticoat Junction".

Although not the funniest of Secret Words (with the exception of the Astronaut episode, these are all hilarious), this was Kristen’s best performance. Enunciating her words from the front of her mouth…just like a Broadway diva…well played.

Oh lol, I just realized a lot of young people won't understand weird "sick day TV" (soap operas, game shows, Donahue/Oprah/Sally, PBS sewing, & classic black & white sitcoms!!) in the age of streaming & KZfaq/TikTok. I have fond memories of it, but gotta say that I prefer our modern way of watching shows and clips that actually interest us!
