When I decided to keep my baby, I didn’t know what I was thinking… Maybe the people around me would be kind, and supportive. Maybe they would understand. That they would assume this could have happened to any one of them. But, it happened to me. And was I wrong to assume the best out of others?

once my little sister was in phonics in another classroom and couldnt see the screen/board, she was going to tell the teacher but before she could this assisant teacher told her off. she told her how its not her fault she couldnt read them and she took her back to her classroom. this is where that bad things happen. on the way back the teacher grabs her arm really hard and twists it. when our parents repor it they say it wasnt on ctv- this is such a bad problem and please note she was(and still is) only in yr3/3rd grade at the time. these sorts of things need to stop

The way Mr. Bennett stood up for Casey, How the baby's father apologized and went hands on to mend his ways and do his part in the parenting... Even Casey herself who had every reason to reject the baby's father, and yet gave him that chance... All three are rare finds these days.

There was a girl in my school who was pregnant at 15 and everytime always helped her and made sure she was ok. She was homeschooled after her baby was born then s year later went back to school. She's now 41 and is a teacher.

If i ever have a daughter of my own and she's in her teens and got pregnant, i would never abandon her. I would support her even when she made a mistake. Sure there would talking but in the end, i never want to abandon my own flesh and blood. I would be a great a grandfather.

@@monicarichardson2086 Yes and even if my potential daughter makes this mistake, i wouldn't wanna make her feel bad, i'd just try to be supportive even when i'm dissapointed with her reckless behaviour. No matter what, i never want to abandon my own flesh and blood because if you do that, you would regret that with the rest of your life.

@finlandguy427 They won't abandon you, but the rule is that you don't have babies or get yourself into trouble with THEIR money and time on your mind. Like my brother got locked up, and they didn't put money on books or pay for his legal fees. If you get pregnant while you're a teenager or in school, they're not babysitting or paying for your childcare. You'd better have a plan because nobody is putting themselves out for something that could've easily been prevented. They're not mean to you or anything, but our choices won't dictate their lives.

i just love how her best friend was there for her, how her mother was shocked at first and eventually accepted it, the way Danny apologized to her and the way Mr. Bennett helped her with her mental issues.

Same thing happened to my mom. Well with my mom was 17 and my dad was in his twenties she got pregnant with me and then 18 months later my brother came along. She had to quit school because she was getting picked on and both of their families wasn't too happy either. My mom's family wanted her to have an abortion when she was pregnant me. Well after some time my dad's family accepted me and my brother but some of my mom's family members not so much. They were dating when this happened. But I told my dad this one did you ever regretted having me and my brother Joey. And he said no. I told that to my mom as well and she said no. Even if they weren't planning on having kids they had no regrets of having us. Well after me and my brother turns out my dad want to try for another girl but my mom said no. She said I'm fine with girl and a boy.

@@gingerstoeckel2603 Well... Your dad WAS in his 20's so I can understand why your mom's family was apprehensive, because your mom was only 17. BUT, if I had a daughter who got pregnant, or a son who got his girlfriend pregnant, I would be there for them no matter what. And I would never abandon them (unless they are REALLY young and irresponsible, I would give them a stern talking to) but I would still be there for them.

I can't pretend to know what this poor girl is going through, but I do know what it's like to be an outcast. And I also know that what happened to her could've happened to anyone else. She's only human, just like the rest of us. And she shouldn't be treated any differently from anyone else just cuz she's pregnant. And she most certainly doesn't deserve to feel like she made the wrong decision to keep her baby.

I love the story that teacher had me write to treat her that way because she couldn’t give birth to a child so she picked out a 16-year-old. I’m glad it worked out and I pray they both graduated with honors

I wish more girls in her position could realize. It doesn't mean your life is over !! It just means your course has changed a bit. You can still go to school, college and have a great career. It definitely wont be easy, but its still very possible.

Actually it means his life is over if anything. Either he’s going to have to pay child support, he’s going to have to stick around for the kid, or he’s going to be in a ton of legal trouble. Where I’m at, if there’s probable cause to determine someone is the father, the court can make them submit to a paternity test, and failure to submit could make them in contempt of court.

Ouch. It was upsetting from how Casey’s schoolmates and teacher ridiculed her for getting herself pregnant. Miss Parker even failed her for no reason cause of that. I heard about what that can do to a person when they fail them for no reason cause they didn’t like them. It can ruin their self esteem and like Mr. Benett said lead them to hurting themselves. Teenagers die everyday from suicide because of the bullying. So always be kind to others, no matter what they’re going through.

Same happened to my sister it tore the family apart. My dad passed away in 2018 and my sister emigrated to Australia with her now husband. My dad came round. My mum was good. My sister had lots of friends as she was very social she was 16 and I was 12. I just wished she hadn't asked me what to do I said tell mum and dad. Dad went mad at her and my mum. I felt guilty (still do I'm 43) and my poor mum got a beating and the stress caused my poor sister to lose the baby. It was a long time ago but it really hurt so it must have been worse for you guys.❤😢

I'm proud of her for walking out of that clinic. The doctor and nurse were rude. I get that it's their job but women have the right to change their minds. She was amazing and went through so much hardship but she was strong.

my sister is currently 15 and about 4 months pregnant. she had to make a huge decision whether to keep it or not. she did and had to quit softball after doing it her whole life. i support her a lot. she gets bullied often in school and lost a lot of friends. we never really see my moms side of the fmaily but it ses they don’t support it and tell her to get rid of it. on halloween we found out the gender, it was a girl. seeing how happy my sister was i knew that she will be the best mother ever. at the start she said she didnt care what anyone said although she missed school often to the point where she couldn’t go to hoco. her best friend stopped talking to her but thats when u know whos real and whos fake. i have beeb trying my best to support her through this because people are pathetic and dont care abt others feelings. instead they spread rumors saying the father is a 40 year old man when its not. we live in a dangerous world with hurtful people, be careful everyone.

I am 15 and pregnant. I understand everything. I’ve been called many names and people who don’t know me talk about me like they do know me. The hardest part was that the boy doesn’t want anything to do with the baby. But I try to be positive because there are still people who support me and love me. And this baby will change my life and I will make sure it never has the life I had. I will be more of a mother than mine was to me. I am determined. And I don’t need any man to help me. Many women and teens have done it so can I. If you are in the same situation as me please comment and let me know if you need anything. Stay safe ❤😁

I graduated from high school in 1990 so the way kids are in high schools now is definitely not how kids were then. Sure there was still bullying and the cliques of students but no social media to speak of. There were three girls who were pregnant my junior year of high school, one gave her baby up for adoption. All three went on to graduate with the rest of us. The first girl has a daughter that went on to become a lawyer and passed the bar her first try and has been practicing law now for about ten years. The other girl had her first daughter our junior year and had her second daughter about two years after we graduated with her high school sweetheart, they divorced and she remarried and had three more...all boys. Her first daughter was born deaf but went on to become a special education teacher. It is so sad that people will judge others when they have never walked a mile in their shoes. Things happen, kids are just that...kids. It doesn't cost anything to be kind to someone else because regardless of the situation, those that bully and judge and make fun of others may need that shoulder to cry on one day.

I was like this in my last year of highschool and I got kicked out for being pregnant, but I did go back to school and finish plus got my college degree too. Now days it okay to be a teen and pregnant, because the school work with the mothers and the babies too.

As soon as the woman first said "STOP" to the doctor, he should have STOPPED. not kept going, and trying to convince her, is this how most healthcare professionals are?! This is horrible. And I feel bad for that woman, my grandmother was pregnant at 18, so I cannot imagine what it is like. She told me she wasn't shunned or anything but I know it was still hard considering she was in another country where birth control, or sex wasn't talked about
