I dropout of school at 18 years old. I stay out of school for 2021-2022 school year, the year I was supposed to graduate. I was going through a lot and a lot of depression. So it’s one of the reasons I dropped out. I was lucky to go back when I was 19. 2022-2023 school year. I graduated at the age of 20 which it can be kinda of embarrassing but I’m still glad I did it. I still got my diploma!!! If you do something like that you have not care what other people think and just keep your grades up and work your hardest to get through your last year of school and enjoy it. I didn’t get really bullied for it but I did have a few comments about me being 19 years old going back to school. I’m still glad I did it. If you ever go through this just remember. Your goal is finish school. You’re not there to make friends. Your their get your diploma or education. School is so you can make a future for yourself. All those people I went school with I haven’t seen in a couple years. So remember who really matters and what really matters.

Times may of changed. So in case you are an adult who did not finish high school, you just attend the adult school instead of a high school. At least right there will be no shame to earn your high school diploma and no shame to fill out an application stating you are an adult. Maybe they did force certain adults to blend in with teens but in current era, if you are an adult who did not graduate high school, you don't have to go to high school. Instead, you go to an adult school where all your classmates are real adults in age.

@Kyla21Diamond As for you to graduate at age 20 after the pandemic days, I am sure it is less embarassing because times may of already changed where they don't force you to blend in with teens. I can even remember this like it is 2008. Adults who did not graduate high school have options to go to adult school to earn their high school diploma. People also use the adult school for vocational school as well. They can also use the adult school for ESL classes. I don't know what kind of town you are from but where I come from, adults who did not graduate high school does not exactly have to go back to high school. Since you mentioned 2021-2022, I would go like oh wait, that is after the covid 19 pandemic era. Many adults who did not graduate high school would take advantage of adult school before the covid 19 pandemic era. In a way, many who attend adult school can reach their goals as long as they are not there to make friends.

I am not sure if adult schools existed in the 90s but I do know in the 2000s, adult schools can exists where if an adult never graduates high school, they can attend adult school where all their classmates are going to be adults. Quite common to earn a high school diploma at the adult school.

Adult school is full of programs where there is vocational training for adults, ESL class for adults, and high school diploma programs. In the actual adult school, she does not have to hide who she is and she would of been with classmates like her which are classmates that originally did not earn high school diploma before turning 20.

I mean you see that he did wanted to follow the schedule of closing down the prom but he also saw that the 2 students needed some time to work out issues to become a couple. So that W principal had to make an exception. That W principal just happened to go an extra mile so that way, he will not receive complaints that his prom event made the relationship worst. That W principal breaks a rule a little to make that event better. That W principal knew he had to close the event but did not want to disappoint any customers. So him as the event organizer is to make everybody happy. If he needs to extend the time, he will.

Prom Night is one of the memorable event in high school including graduation. So some make it real big deal but truth it's not all about the fancy dress o toxido. It's all about on how you enjoy the night and have fun.

You can tell the way how this principal made an exception for those 2 students. That principal really wanted to make that prom night memorable and magical. The way how he told everybody to leave because it is closing time. He acted so strict in the beginning to tell everyone to leave. Then when he sees the 2 couples working out issues, he cancelled the idea of making them leave. I mean he could of told the 2 students to leave but instead, he changed the lights to make a magical effect and allowed the 2 couples to stay at the prom during closing hours. That guy showed he have heart and is committed to make the prom night memorable. I would think that principal had a same belief as you. So if you were the organizer, you would of done the same thing as the principal. That principal broke a rules a little so that no students will complain that the event don't give them time to have fun. That principal extended the time when necessary.
