I bought the Cookies and Cream Softweave about two months ago. The cloth seems pretty durable, the chair gives really good support. Lots of features. I"m careful about food near the chair, and so far I haven't spilled anything. I've fallen asleep in the chair a few times, so it's comfortable. So far, I'm happy with the purchase.

I’ve had my secret lab titan 2020 since 2020 and let me tell you ! My back and posture has been saved! I have the softweave fabric and it’s amazing 2 years later and I feel like the chair hasn’t even been broken in yet

Hey, the content of your video and the way you structured the scenes is awesome, really helpful too. You may have fixed this by now but if not take a look at the volume difference between your recorded in video voice and voice over voice. To me its a little jarring each time and causes a bit of a focus slip from what's actually going on in the video. A simple fix in the DAW! Great video!

As I'm somebody who sweats dummy fast the moment temps go into like spring temp ranges here, I guess there choice is easily made. My desk will continue to take the biggest abuse food / spill wise.

its mean 11 months since u last reviewed the chair , there is a nagging issues which I am quite concerned about. The magnetic Pillow , its the magnetic pillow magnet power still strong ? if frequent abrasion on the pillow will it leave marks due to the magnet pillow ? does the magnet pillow cause any discomfort bcos its quite new to our head and having a magnet behind the head is quite worrisome . thank you

Have you considered getting the small size? Seems like your feet arent planted on the ground that much if you are not wearing shoes. Im of the same height and weight as you and im torn choosing a small and regular one.

I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black. The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

two weeks isn't really long enough to break in the foam on the base. it takes quite a while to break it in and mine Titan was on the first wave of Titan's in the U.S (6 years old now)

my worry are the eventual sweat stains. the softweave seems reccomended for hot weather but...that means you will also sweat more and risk those stains. so im rly torn

I find it quite crazy for someone to say that a chair is durable because it hasn't ripped within the first year... How is the standard so low, even for a very expensive chair

Leather is softer, but feel stinky when its how. Fabric feels more rough and sturdy, but a bit warm when its hot. Also fabric stains like the video said.

Regular, size is perfect for this and it can have weight up to 130 kg, its also cheaper :)

just curious what is your heights? I am 5ft5 and weight 80kg very slim body and looking at regular or small. Also like to cross my legs in my chair

I'm 5'6" and slim and I have the regular size and it's perfect for me as I also love crossing my legs or having them up. The seat on the regular is big enough to comfortably sit. The small one is...well, obviously smaller so it's not as comfortable to sit cross legged, feels like there's less support and space to put your legs.

@@bz9363 If you wear shorts or occasionally sit shirtless (not assuming your gender here) you might stick to the leather a bit at times. We own 2 leather chairs, 1 titan and 1 omega. Omega breaks a lot faster because I cross my legs and the edge of the seat got punctured with holes over time... also the armrest cracked open. I replaced the omega with a softweave titan. And as the leather age on the seat, it got ripped a bit when I wore shorts and was a bit sticky. But since the chair is so expensive, unless you favor a particular design, I think most leather design are still worth getting because of how good they look. You can just put a chair cushion under to protect it better or look up some customized 3rd party secret lab seat cover to protect your seat. I guess what I'm saying is I haven't been with the softweave for more than a year yet so I don't know how it ages compare to the leather.

In conclusion: Leatherette is for people who are messy or drink/eat a lot while gaming Softweave pro is for people who are clean or don't eat/drink a lot while gaming

All the magnets are a gimmick. This company has a lot of hype, but I'm seeing a lot of stuff that's not ideal. The arm-rests are loose and there are plenty of "reviewers" are saying that after a few months the chair is very noisy. I have a feeling that SecretLabs is the "Raid: Shadow Legends" of gaming chairs, and there has to be something better our there for that money, without taking out a mortgage for a Herman Miller. People need to stop acting like the magnetic pillow thing was or is a positive thing. It's not. That's just people justifying a purchase.

@@alexvstheworld777 I just want a comfortable chair, that's going to last longer than your typical "gaming chair". I'm not an extremely heavy guy, but I'm not a small guy either and the materials and build are more important to me than gimmicky magnets. Since every single video I've watched about this chair, and I do mean literally every one, have mentioned the noise after a month or so, I know that build quality isn't what people who are just defending their purchase are saying. The loose armrest pads are an issue too. Just because they are "removable", doesn't make that a good thing. They may wear out easily, and then you're going to have to purchase more! The chair is already expensive! At the time of writing this, the chair would have costed me $618 for an XL (I'm 6'1", 220lbs) and once I purchase it, I would have to pay to ship it back if it's not what I want. No, the company is not going to get that kind of money for a product that's simply not worth it. Maybe at the price some of you have received it for, but $618?!?! Yeah, no, it's simply not worth that. No matter what Raid: Shadow Legends advertising campaign the KZfaq influencers push to sell this chair.

@@wafflecat_ Man, I hate to say it, I truly do, but a used Herman Miller would be better than this. In the end it's just a "gaming chair" with some magnets, that people find "cool" for some reason, and it's rickety after a month or two. Problem is, they say you can "return it", but research what it would cost to send a 40+ pound chair back to Singapore. That's how they get people, and no one ever talks about it.

@@stabbyronnie I've never tried the secret lab chair, and I agree most if not all of these gaming chairs are just a marketing hype. Any chair is a "gaming" chair, and we just need one that is comfortable. I'm currently using an old herman miller and it's super comfortable, but there are things I don't like about it as well. This being my only chair and I do everything on my computer, sometimes I just want to lounge in it, and that isn't what this chair is meant for. You can't just kick back and watch a movie in it. Also the plastic around the edges of the seat are really hard and unforgiving if you like to sit cross legged, or one foot under the leg. The herman miller was designed to be ergonomic, and it doesn't really let you sit in "bad" positions. Which is great don't get me wrong, but since I do everything in this chair, I would like more flexibility in the way I can sit. Most of the time I have good posture, but I like to change up the positions and this chair doesn't let me do that. I also don't have a headrest which sucks, I could get one but they are around $100+.
