Loved this one. My dad’s grandfather immigrated from Germany through Texas. I’ll put the Alpine Haus on my list. I love spätzle but usually eat mine plain, with just butter. I love schnitzel too, again just plain. If you ever find yourself in Kansas City, check out Grünauer’s or if in the Amana Colonies in Iowa, the Ox Yoke Inn. Every place in this video looked awesome. I loved, loved, loved that tree in the background in the Gruene segment! Just wow! I can imagine back in the good ole days a bunch of kids climbing all over it while folks had picnic lunches in the shade it provides. Phil was even extra good in this one - maybe it was the knee shot - it loosened him up (Nah, he's just getting much more comfortable behind the camera) I liked how you put this one together so maybe that beer DID help, wink, wink. EDIT: same question as The Traveling Tech Guy - who was playing at Gruene Hall that owned those swanky Provosts? C'mon, spill the beans! Give us the 411. Sing like a canary.
@todayissomeday
@todayissomeday 5 жыл бұрын
I agree Phil is definitely more comfortable and relaxed when I pull out the camera!. As far as Gruene Hall goes the website has Roger Creager listed. I have no idea who that is! The two main singers at Helotes with those Prevosts were Lee Brice and Justin Moore. It was a St Jude concert with about 10 different singers but only those two were on the radio. Although, Ryan Hurd was also here and he has been writing for others for years and he is married to Marion Morris so maybe on was his.

So glad you asked the very question that was on my mind! I’m from Pearsall Tx and there’s no place on the planet that compares to South Texas in my humble opinion. I’ve been away from home for 20 plus years ranching in South West Missouri . I have contemplated buying a class A diesel pusher for the past year now but I wanted to do my homework before making such a costly investment and actually see what it’s all about. What features are a must have and what to avoid. Hopefully learn from someone else’s travels and experiences. My other reason for buying a big coach would be a place to live full time while I search for another piece of land to build my home. I just subscribed to your channel so I intend to binge watch all of your videos and live vicariously through them until I can join my fellow travelers out on the road.
