Yes the etymology is spot on, satan means truth in sanskrit which predates hebrew translations of the adversary for thousands of years.

Yes. There Is an ancient city In India called Satana - And huge underground temple built for the memory of Sanat Kumara. They call It Shivas temple, Shiva Is an aspect of Sanat Kumara, as he himself Is Shiva, born out of darkness, cosmic mind. Who produced light out of darkness, bringing light Into existence. There Is only one true King of the Universe who has many names and one of them Is Sanat Kumara.

Interesting- while Thoth was a very skilled soul, he abused his power and actually worked with Crowley and did a lot of bad stuff, such as distort spiritual teachings. Actually quite a horrible being.
