For the runner chestburster I like to think it being born like a mini drone is because of its host, since it was more animalistic. Like how a young hare is born like a tiny adult; with fur and eyes already opened.

I think the original chest-burst was #1. None other captured so much horror. I think the actors not knowing what would happen is what made it so great, and maybe more.

There were so many things about Alien that were amazing. I think that Covenant undoes all of them , basically. One of the most horrifying things is not knowing. The question of what the xenomorph is would have been best left unanswered. Even if Covenant would have just made the species indigenous to the planet, it still would have remained a mystery and, there fore, "alien". We have some nasty creatures on this planet.....the tape worm...disgusting...what is it?...it just IS. How terrifying is it that something like that exists?! One contaminated meal and you have a creature sometimes several feet long attached to your intestine, feeding....and when they come out...ahhhh! What kind of sick planet is this!? The back story that the xenomorph was developed by an android with a god complex completely demystifies it. "Oh, it was a science experiment.....so not really an alien species....a product....yeah." I am probably making no sense at this point. I just wish I could erase Covenant from my brain.

You know.... and spoilers by the way...the only thing I didn’t really like about alien covenant is how predictable David’s victory was over Walter. There was no question of it, I think everyone who saw the movie knew that the android who helped at the end was really David and not Walter... other than that I thought it was a great alien movie, not goofy like resurrection(even though I really liked that movie) but still had the same feel as the original alien. The only thing I want out of this series now is an ALIENS type sequel. An action packed horror movie where our lead kicks ass and takes names. Or a scary action movie where our protagonist kicks ass and takes names, but there is also a question of safety by the end.... not an all out death sentence like at the end of covenant. These are great movies but they are turning out to be too much like one another. I’d like to see an ALIENS type sequel, and the. Something different if they can think of something. I dunno, I like a good mix of nostalgia and new concepts

+SciFi Explained Purvis is not from ALIEN 3, his character is from ALIEN RESURRECTION, and also the successful removal of the cloned "Queen" Chestburster from Ripley 8 in the same film was another successful removal. Also Veronica Cartwright never passed out, she tripped backwards and quickly got up, it's shown in the deleted extended unused scenes of ALIEN. I love your videos, but please review them before you post them, it's not the first time this happened.

I don't like how fast chestbursters grow into adults. As a physicist I know mass can't be created from of nothing. This actually happens in a lot of films and it is sooo annoying. So the only solutions I can think of are: 1) It eats/congests solids (like any other animal). 2) It can condense the air somehow. 3) Synthesize matter from energy by some form of nuclear or particle quantum process. 4) Warp in matter through some loophole Generel Relativity (if theoretically possible). The first option is the obvious and by far most realistic. But very rare do we see aliens eat and many if not all seem to grow without food. So yeah... get your mechanics straight from the start!
