That's so weird ! In video you are playing your game @ 9:32 and I looked down at mine and guess what time it is here in real life !? 9:32 !!! Then it shows you playing at 9:32 a.m In your day but it's 9:33 now in real life for me ! That's crazy !

That bright green is an incredible color. I really hope Nintendo decides to stick with bright colors for a while. That'd really make these current generation consoles that much more special and memorable. I bought the coral colored Switch Lite just for that reason.

Imagine this for a moment. Game and watch Metroid! It’s purple colored and has all the buttons needed and it comes with the NES original, and gameboy Metroid 2. Some Pokémon game and watch systems would be absolutely awesome.

It's a cool little device but to be honest I got it for the clock. That's all I use my Mario one for and I love it. I have a 3d printed game & watch stand for it and when it's plugged in it stays on.

Loved it! Didn't know about those secret art screens, that's awesome! I'd also have loved it if they'd included the DX colour version of Link's Awakening. But its still cool. In the same vein I think its crazy we never got an official colour version of Super Mario Land 1 & 2!

Awesome. I got mine from Target as soon as they were available today. Got one for myself and one for my brother. I remember fondly when The Legend of Zelda came out on the NES, I was 9 years old and played the hell out of it, followed by Zelda 2 the following year. Had you told my 9-10 year old self that some day in the future you’ll be walking around with these games in your pocket, I would have called you crazy and threw a rock at you LOL. Now, if the big N would come out with a Punch-Out!!! Game and Watch featuring Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! and Punch-Out (with Mr Dream), another day 1 buy for me. And my supervisor at work lol.

Is this the original Link's Awakening version where if you hit Select when during screen transition, you appear on other end of next screen and items get duplicated? I enjoyed breaking the game back in the day. That got fixed for DX and all other releases.

they are a little pricey but I still love them, got so much use out the mario one, now zelda with my favorite title awaking so many hours played as a kid. I would love to see more of them keep the series alive and going, and yes they so do need the metal kick stand.

There's no point in holding onto these unsealed because over time the battery inside can swell and destroy them from the inside, better to remove the battery but it means opening them.

@@izakknighton446 It's not a glitch, it's a function of the game which has consequences if you successfully steal something, which comes in the form of being instantly killed upon re-entering the shop, and if I'm not mistaken, in the Switch port by doing that your name tag changes from whatever you previously had set to "THIEF", so for example if your name was "John" in game, after stealing from the shop all of the characters from that point on would refer to you as "THIEF"

Secret - In the legend of zelda, hold down A for the five seconds to get full lives, then go and get the MASTER sword (since it is based off of hearts and not tri-force). Then when you save and go back you will keep the master sword and full hearts.

i know this video is slightly old now but you didn't mention that while on the clock screen if you hold down the A button for a few seconds that you will hear a chime and the ticking sound gets replaced with zelda music and sound effects from the first game

Good video thanks! I was thinking of buying this. I played Zelda 1 and 2 when i was a kid, but i never finished them. And having those cheats will greatly ease process when learning these games. Before going with normal hearts. Is the d-pad and a- & b-buttons good enough quality to play hours and hours? Not too small for adult?

One secret is the Japanese additions of the games are actually the Famicon additions (so they are a little bit different with visuals and sound) .

@@FelipeBudinich class D...okay, I want to **** on it, but it has its places. there are now micro tubes about the size of a diode... 🤔🤔🤔 I still watch laserdiscs on a 20" Sony medical monitor though...so getting me to go class D might not happen. Even mini tubes might work if you cut the case to let part of the tubes stick out. 🤔

I found a if you hold a in for 5 seconds on the clock screen it'll start playing music and effect sounds. Also on the timer screen if you hold a in for 5 seconds the timer starts counting up.

This looks totally worth it. As a lifelong Zelda fan this is pretty much what I was hoping for. Fun tip: for $20 extra bucks you can order the "Game and Console" knock off. Its a weird addition to a handheld collection.

Fun fact the reason why the LOZ one has a select and start button added is because of Links Awakening since you would use those buttons as well when changing weapons

You also need them for the other games. Zelda I needs the Start button for the Item menu, and Zelda II needs the Select and Start for magic usage and the Spell menu respectively.

I want the Zelda one, but the Mario one has been plugged into my Switch dock by my computer and become a $50 glorified clock, I'll pick it up sometime still anyway knowing there will be plenty available and no scalping like the Mario one.
