we were at breathless in sept 2023 , the place was an absolute building site , incredible how its been transformed into a fully working resort in 5 months , hats off !!

Nice walk through! How do you find it compares to an EEC or EPC?

Thanks! Tides is definitely smaller than EEC and EPC. The pools are better than EEC, but comparable in size to EPC, and the beach is equally as nice, just smaller.

Wow! I've seen your videos on here and TikTok. Absolutely amazing. Thanks for doing that.... A few questions (as we are headed to Tides in April).... Did you find the ocean to be swimmable or was it too rough? The pools seem to be small - did they feel crowded? And finally, how was the food and entertainment? THANKS AGAIN!!

Thanks! The ocean was very swimable, when we were there, the pools didn't seem too crowded, and the food and entertainment are always good at Secrets!

One question: based on the official map, I couldn’t understand if there’s also a beach area for “normal” guests with sunbeds and umbrellas, or if those are only for the premium customers? Thank you in advance !

The Preferred Club section of the beach is on the left side (as you walk to the beach from the resort), but the non Preferred section has umbrellas and plenty of seating as well. Have a great trip!

Yes it is! It's pretty close. Breathless is the next resort to the South, and Dreams is next to that.

how is the nightlife and entertainment?

They definitely have shows every night, along with entertainment throughout the day. The shows in the theater are usually done around 9 l believe.

We have never been to Royal Beach, so we can't say anything there, but we love Cap Cana. Tides and Cap Cana are very different places. Tides has a more modern upscale feel, while Cap Cana has a more traditional Secrets feel.
