Hello dear Amir. You’re doing a great job. I’m teaching since last 12 years and heard about PGCE a decade ago. I must appreciate your efforts ❤ because I could never found such detailed videos on PGCE ever before. Thanks a lot❤ I’m teaching Biology to IGcSE and O level kids, I truly need to take PGCE now to upgrade my teaching status. Kindly clarify which equivalence exams do I have to give for that. I’ve a masters degree which is equivalent to UK’s bachelor’s. I’d really appreciate it

Hi thank you for your acknowledgement. Well GCSE English and mathematics exams are a must requirement. Most of the universities accept GCSE equivalency exams, but first step is to apply for the course, interviewed and get selected. They will let you know what equivalency exams they would accept.

@@m.aamir.h Sir I checked Eligibility for QTS then when I selected Pakistan It showed, You are not eligible I don't know why it showed that I am exempted 4 years from QTS as mentioned in rule 4? Second and important is that I am a public school teacher and have 6 years experience in computer science with 16 years of education and 1.5 years b.ed then which path is good for me to teach in the UK?

@@ansarnadeemahmad5752 well Pakistani B.Ed is not acceptable as teaching qualification. You need to do PGCE with QTS. It is a 1 year course to be done in the UK and after doing this course you can apply for teaching jobs in the UK

@@ansarnadeemahmad5752 when you apply for pgce with QTS you get both pgce and QTS. IELTS academic is required. At this stage you need to apply first, once selected the course provider will let you know everything that is required further to secure admission

Well you can apply for teaching jobs, you might get unqualified teaching jobs, but generally school don't offer teaching jobs to unqualified teachers, you can consider applying for pgce course, applications are open

One more Question: You said that after Bachelor's degree you need Master's degree too but on their website only bachelor's degree is mentioned for Non teacher background. Secondly i don't think so that Indians need to have Masters degree because Indian education system is far better than Pakistani system. Secondly i think Pakistani authorities have not signed MoU with UK therefore our qualifications are considered one step lower than British (Love from Pakistani)

Hi, 1. I am not sure whether it is equivalent or not. 2. Have you taught in India for 15 years? 3. For Pakistani students we need to give gcse equivalent exam that is suggested by the course provider for pgce, I believe it is the same for indian applicants too, but Indian education system is better than Pakistani education system so there might be some different situation, they might accept your high school grades

@@m.aamir.h At the outset thank you for your prompt reply. Altogether I have 15 years of teaching experience. Out of 15 years and 8 years I was working as a lecturer for one of the institutes in Oman affiliated with the UK University. That's how I am awarded with FHEA from Advanced HEA.

And want to go to UK for masters, so if 1) I want to teach in uk secondary what should be the best route for me? 2) Should i do PGCE level 7 from pakistan and then go there? 3) should i go and do my masters in uK in computing subject and than again apply for pgce when I'm in my psw? 4) I don't have experience in teaching school but I have tutored students from secondary in math and science online to afford my BS fees. 5) Or should i come on PGCE course directly after bacgelors if that is possible?? 6) please suggest me the best route for this career as you know getting a sponsorship and doing a respectable job is my long term goal.

@@rehankhan-kb1sk well you can apply for pgce with QTS directly after your BS, pgce from Pakistan will not worth it as it is not accepted in the UK. You can do at least 1 year teaching experience in Pakistan I suggest before you apply for pgce

Also I'm a little confuse as you know doing msc in your feild is like recognized all over world but this is like pgce has same cost but its very job specific. So should I go for it right after bachelors?? Becoz my goal is to get a sponsor job in Uk which should lead to settlement?

@@rehankhan-kb1sk well job marker in the UK is quite competitive and saturated. There is a demand of good teachers, so there are higher chances to get job after PGCE, I am not sure about chances of getting job afte MS inr CS

Not fully funded. Only physics, German, Spanish and french international pgce students can get scholarship or bursary but you still need to pay fee
