In this presentation, practice coding scenarios and live-action videos are used to guide IRF and LTCH providers in the coding of Section D items: D0150 Patient Mood Interview and D0160 Total Severity Score. The coding practiced in this training is based on the guidance that is found in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) 4.0 and Long-Term Care Hospital CARE Data Set (LCDS) 5.0.
