It took us 20-30 years to get the perfect and BEST Spider-Man game in 2018. And now Marvel's spider man 2 which is going to be the best Superhero video game of all time.

If you’re a true spiderman game fan, i honestly recommend playing “spider-man” from 2000. It came out on PlayStation and is literally a masterpiece. The fact that venom and carnage we’re both involved in that game speaks volumes. So underrated

In my opinion, the very latest in 2018 on the ps4 to the new one with Miles and Peter teaming together released this year, is perfection…. My personal favourite is Miles Morales solo game, that one was brilliant, But my number 1 favourite will always be Ultimate Spider-Man from ‘05…. That was a very brilliant game…… I can’t say enough about the 2005 release of Ultimate Spider-Man, fantastic gameplay, pretty solid story, animation and overall visual presentation was top notch and ahead of its time, 9.5/10 Absolute gold

First time i played the Spiderman game in my life was the 2000 version when i was a little kid. Man the nostalgia hit hard. I spent many days playing it and just imagining myself in the place of Spiderman 😊😊.

My first was the Spider-Man (2000). Then Spider-Man movie game from 2002, Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro for Ps1, Spider-Man 2 the movie game, 3, now 2018 game on PS4 and Miles morales on PS5. Just waiting to get Spider-Man 2 (2023).

Never underestimate those Spiderman games in the past. It is so much more difficult than you could imagine, especially the time you have to fight each boss. Take NES ninja turtle for example!

Today's generation who've played the PS4/PS5 Spider-Man games will never get to experience those older gems like Spider-Man 1 & 2 on the original Playstation, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 1 & 2 and Ultimate on the PS2, and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 3 on the Xbox 360/PS3. I get that those current Spider-Man games are very enjoyable but you cannot beat the old games I mentioned in terms of quality and replay value.

Unpopular opinion- All spider man games since 2004 looks same to me, there are some technological advancement as time approaches but general idea and locations for swinging through the NY, Times square, central park and stopping crimes as side missions remains same in each game.. Rocksteady did a much better job making all 4 Batman Arkham games feel different from each other...
