Why do I get drawn to a futuristic dystopia with 80s retro music? Something about this dark ambiance makes me feel whole, makes me feel happy.

So the kids are at my parents house for the night, dogs have been already walked and the wife is at her friends house. Im all alone with THIS and nobody will disturb me. My Dudes, grab a glass of rum and off we go on another great adventure!

Last night i got in my balcony in the rain... seated on my puff... and put my headphones playing this at full blast and closed my eyes... catching the rain and the wind in my face... it was a mindblowing experience!! Sector 12 is near the exclusion zone. It rains a lot there, and it is not always water... The sun is never seen beyond thick clouds and a dark fog. It is one of the most depressing, cold and unsafe areas of the city...

I recently started writing all my thoughts on paper, everything that goes through my head, how I see life, my current struggles, wins, thoughts, etc, and I really like doing it while listening to this, I really enjoy the mood I’m into. I don’t know if I should call myself « depressive » but I have really bad thoughts since approximately 5 years, I’m 21 years old right now, I tried therapy and it didn’t work for me, felt like the person didn’t really care what I was telling her, I didn’t really had a lot of traumas or shit, I was just a short and fat guy (lost weight in my 18s, but I’m still quite short), so growing up wasn’t really easy, even tho I made people laugh, manage to make good and loyal friends that I still have today, had some good parties, etc.. today I just feel lost in life, I’m jobless (I worked during around 3 years before so I have money aside to pay things to help my parents), living with my parents, without any girlfriend (only had 1 in my life, lasted something like a week, but she was the one that really wanted me), still virgin, and no real hobby or passion.. The only thing I actually really enjoy doing in life these days is Weightlifting (Snatch + C&J), it’s like it’s the only thing that makes me happy during the day, I relate so much to this Fight Club quote : « Our great war's a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. » (this could actually explain why I recently started to appreciate all those « sigma movies » like Fight Club, Taxi Driver, Blade Runner 2049, etc) Just want to thanks SpaceWave for this masterpiece, writing all the shit that goes through my head with this going through my ears feels insane, like a really special experience. Hope that everyone reading this will have a good life, and if you’re going through something like me, or even worse, I sincerely hope you’ll get better, thank you for reading me.

Needs to be listened to with headphones so that you may be able to hear every little sound, it makes a huge difference in the experience. The music, the raindrops, the background little noises all bring it to life and transports you into another world. It's like I'm looking through a window into another time.

Life under the Corporate Sector Authority looks so grimdark.

The early evening is dim, gray, with dark clouds looming over a thick fog that looms not but a few hundred feet away. You walk down the abandoned road alongside your trusted childhood friend "Will." The road is littered with scrap and debris from all manner of abandoned vehicles, trash, and other refuse from half a century ago, just before the Kilter Wars brought havoc and mayhem to your front doorstep.

Ever thought about doing this video in 4k? This is my favorite track of all time and it would be sweet to have this in 4k. 1080p on KZfaq is not the best anymore. Thanks again for this cosmic getaway!

I've gotta say my dude, this is probably one of the most intense Ambient's I have listened to. It screams atmosphere. Many tracks are more calm than this and create a silent ambience. But this one punches the feeling right into your soul.
