This is good advice in general, but I was hoping for topics specific to Security 601 because these tips apply to any Comptia exam

What I do is write down the question number that gave me difficulty then go back at the end of the exam. Then if there is more time then review the rest.

a lot of times other questions will answer other questions. Always a good idea to run through the second pass for the whole test

Great thanks, taking Linux+ now then was going to take BTL1 (Blue team level one) would security+ be smart after or before BTL1. 30 years in Telecommunications I have a CCNA and a old CCNA security. My problem is I’m at 59 but I’m gonna give it a whirl

I found what I believe to be a mistake in your CompTIA Sec + 601 Study Guide. The question relating to the dog sign I believe is wrong. It says that it's a compensating control as the answer, but the justification clearly says it only acts as a deterrent control. So, which is correct?

There is no dog so it's compensating. If there was actually a dog it would be a deterrent.
