I'm thinking about making a separate mod using Securitycraft to add structures based on it across the world, like traps, bunkers, etc. Would add for an interesting gameplay for themes like that!

Security craft is made to be impossible to open. I don’t think it’s the best idea, but if you can make it hidden that’d be cool.

Can't config in 1.16.5 for some reason. Looked promising, I'll probably still use it but I can't seem to get other stuff to work either. Like the Inventory Scanner. Doesn't take my item, store it, give a redstone signal, or block me from going through. And I guess it's because I can't config?

No, you can't. The whole point of them is that only the player who placed them down can break them.

How did you get the portable radar to detect yourself? I am trying to set up an automatic door that opens when I get close, but it doesn't trigger for me, only other players

As explained in the video, blocks functions often ignore the owner. You have to use the universal block modifier to enable that the blocks functions also work for you, the owner. Watch 3:50 for more information :) I hope this could help you!
