No, no, it's because it's 'scandalous.' You see, they're afraid the likes of Fra Dimond might lead people out of the 'religion' its hierarchs say you shouldn't try to convert anyone to, and that is no big deal anyway. Plus, it's only going to change until God smites it anyway. Thus, there is no singular, unified religion to join. V2 is the spiritual equivalent of 'da Rona.' In a time of looking like the end of days, if you were charged with getting out and ‘saving’ as many people as you could before the curtain closed, how would you go about it? Would you stay at home and pound your desk repeating the (NT) ‘laws’ you have been taught expecting a proud world to either yield or perish, or would you seek to go and and talk to anyone and everyone who needs saving by engaging them on their own terms (without yielding your own doctrines) until they might see the tiny light filled tunnel that leads from the way they are thinking to a true understanding of Jesus, his sacrifice, his mission and Heaven ?

What is coming soon however is the Judgement of Jesus Christ on Bergoglio. In the meantime every true Catholic has the duty to defend the faith by calling out the enemy it sees, otherwise you would be a coward. Dimond won the debate but he is basically arguing like a Protestant, something which he would obviously deny. The question of authority is something which he can’t convincingly answer (Protestants can answer it but he doesn’t want to be a Protestant so he can’t give a convincing answer). He can’t solve the authority problem so it’s ultimately him, and the people who hold the same views as him, who are the ultimate authority, even if he would deny that by quoting (picking and choosing) former popes and texts, thereby proving my point.

I’m looking out the window it’s raining , there are puddles on the street. The Vatican 2 Church is telling me that it’s sunny & clear. Dimond : Yes it is obviously raining Cassman : you are not a meteorologist, you have no authority to say it is raining or not. Dimond: is the road wet ? Cassman : my bishop says it’s sunny Dimond: what about the water falling from the sky & the puddles ? Cassman: According to Christ it can never rain . I’m not a sede , but man , how do you just ignore the obvious blasphemies coming from the hierarchy & just say that you don’t have the authority to make a judgement? When Biden is making public announcements against the Faith on multiple occasions & you can’t even make a logical conclusion that he isn’t a believer in the Catholic Faith , that is really disturbing to me. When a Pope publicly Bow’s his head in worship to a pagan idol , and you refuse to admit that he engaged in false worship , or the abundance of heretical writings put out publicly over a span of decades, and you still refuse to see it’s raining , I just have a hard time taking someone like that seriously. I have to admit that Dimond made some great points. The Vatican 2 Popes are modernists & have acted against the Faith. The question really is what does this mean ? Cassman should have admitted the obvious & maybe argued that yes the popes are heretical, but ……….. ( I don’t know what ???)

It means that papism is false, and Eastern Orthodoxy was right all along. The Orthodox Church are the original true sedevacantists, since we claim that there wasn't a valid Roman bishop for about a thousand years now - the innovations had started many hundreds of years before Vatican 2: adding to the Creed, changing the ecclesiology from the conciliar approach of the first millennium to a unilateral dictatorship, perverting the liturgy and so on and so forth. The real One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Eastern Orthodox Church is not built on one dude in one city, but on Christ and every bishop is a successor to the apostles not just the bishop of Rome.

The reference to "in the spirit of Vatican 2" or pre-or post vatican 2 is because the Catican 2 Council from its procedures and execution of those procedures and the "shananigans" and suppression of opinions to push through the "changes" were earth shattering. Even Paul VI regretted it. I am reading the 3 book series by Michael Davies and it is eye opening!!!!

They think all the popes from John XXIII to the current Pope Francis are all anti-popes, and hence they reject the NO and other things. Their position is a false one to take. The church must have a pope.

The Sede position isn’t that hard to follow: 1) Canon Law states that manifest and notorious heresy ipso facto excommunicates someone, without needing an official deposition 2) Canon Law states that a manifest heretic cannot be appointed to the Papacy 3) Vatican 2 is manifest heresy due to a number of reasons (including allowing Jews and others outside the Church to be saved, freedom of religion, etc.) 4) The bishops appointed to the Papacy since Vatican 2 accepted Vatican 2 before being appointed to the papacy 5) Thus, they were manifest heretics and cannot canonically be valid Popes 6) Therefore, the Papal Seat has remained vacant since Vatican 2 7) These are the end times.

I have always love how the dimond brothers (in previous debates) talked about how people that adhere to Vatican 2. Seem to be without spiritual teeth or seem to live in a spiritual fog. Why can’t you call a spade a spade and a wolf a wolf? At this point. I am blown away that people can’t see that Francis literally is working to destroy the Catholic Church. What else would this guy have to do to be considered a false apostle? I guess he would have to declare some other “god” to be God instead of Christ. But he has been doing that as well in acts and deeds. And people still have “eyes but can’t see, and ears that but can’t hear.”

@@johnjones8315 First of all, he isn't "Brother" Dimond, because he isn't a real monk, and neither he nor his brother "Michael" have repented of repeatedly lying about being monks. Secondly, his name isn't even Peter. Thirdly, he didn't "refute" Trent Horn. He addressed the lowest hanging fruit from Horn's video, while ignoring everything else that was said. Fourthly, the Dimond brothers' position cannot coincide with infallible Catholic teaching because it is a pseudo-Catholic cult. If there ceases to be a visible Church, then Catholic teaching is wrong, the Church is not infallible, and the whole thing falls apart at its foundation. Anyone who claims that the visible Church can cease to exist is not Catholic.

I want to thank Matt Frad for organising this debate as well as both Jeff and Peter for taking part in it. I never thought I would see this, so I was pleasantly surprised. It's rare that sedes are given a chance to explain and defend their positions on big Catholic channels. It's important for all Catholics to have these conversations in these troubled times we live in. Since recently, I've started to consider Peter's position as the most likely explanation for the crisis, but it's hard to even talk about it to other Catholics. I thought Peter did a great job here though Jeff also brought up some compelling points regarding the visibility of the Church. Though that's an issue for all trads really not just sedes.

All Catholics need to submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit as expressed in Church councils and by the Magisterium. To think we need to "have discussions" that accuse a Church council of heresy is Protestantism.. Even Protestants would rarely refer to issues as niggling as the ones raised by Dimond as heresy.. If you want "these troubled times" to get even worse, keep giving venue to people who are attacking the unity of Jesus' church.

Brother Peter clearly won the debate. Jeff Cassman committed several errors including the logical fallacy Argumentum Ad Populum when Cassman cites the Bishops and Cardinals all accept the papacy of these antipopes. Truth does not exist by consensus or in numbers. I thought Brother Peter was going to cite the Arian Heresy at that point. Regardless, Brother Peter did an excellent job. The Coup de Grace was delivered when Mr. Cassman could not answer Brother Peter's question, "Does Francis profess the True Faith?" That was brilliant. It's kind of strange and sad that someone as educated and well-read as Jeff Cassman can't quite wrap his head around the truth. I see that a lot, especially when trying to point out errors to protestants.

In this case, no one disagrees that the office of the Papacy is legitimate, they simply disagree over whether or not Jorge Bergoglio (and the other post-VII Popes) hold the Seat.

I reccomend watching Brother Peter's other debates as well. He beat fr james gordon, Pinesap, gnrhead (william albrecht), william golle, nick santosuso and many others. You'll start to notice that they all say the same things( for over 20 years!) but can never refute because the truth cannot be refuted. They are afraid to debate him nowadays so they resort to misrepresenting and lying about Brothers positions

Hello @Claudio Tarabocchia. Is not about sympathizing with anybody or not, overall the debate shows how things have deteriorated so bad in The Church. The level of faithlessness on the part of souls who have been given the light of the Faith to be Soldiers of Christ is so scary. Until we put the commandments of our Sovereign God into practice, would we know healing in the Mystical Body of Christ that is so wounded.

And it also seems unfortunate that the faith came to us so late in the game, and that heretics were also spreading their ideas, worst of all being that Islam has such a strong grip on a lot of the continent below the Sahara.

Also, on the matter of exclusion, it feels like the Asian continent is in sort of a worse situation at times. But the fact is Peter Dimond/the Dimond brothers are to a significant extent operating on false assumptions that could have been easily refuted were those who know about them given the chance to confront the Dimonds in the public arena. So it is simply a fact what the Post-Vatican II Church does to the Dimonds (use their [the Dimonds'] comparative secular obscurity to render their positions and mission as ineffectual as possible), the Dimonds themselves do to those who would and could overcome the Dimonds in the public arena given the chance. The Dimonds and [especially] their supporters, from my years long extensive personal experience, do this to others on a regular basis, it is their cup of tea. The Dimond brothers definitely cannot, among others, answer the following "Why haven't you explained, as did Frere Michel you yourselves acknowledge as a reputable Fatima researcher, that the Third Secret of Fatima Sister Lucia described as corresponding to Revelation chapters 8 to 13? Does it have anything to do with the fact the period of peace in said chapters/in said chain of events only occurs after the religious crumbling ends [and it definitely has not ended up to now]; thus rendering invalid your assertion the Triumph of Mary over Russia already occurred?" If you want a stick to beat the Dimonds with, this one question [among others] will do, because the only answer to that they have is to ignore the issue altogether. I have a whole video on the Frere Michel chapters 8 to 13 Third Secret data, it's on KZfaq and is called "The Scourge of the Dimond Brothers".

Further, they are not merely potentially wrong about end times prophecy, they misrepresent the Third Secret of Fatima's content, it has dire consequences (as the importance of the Secret in itself suggests), besides that they and their supporters have their own theological problems, one of them being the heresy of Nicolaism. Brother Peter denied he is one of the Two Witnesses, but he not only is one of them, he is also destined to inccur the temporary espiritual death belonging to them, namely, the Nicolaitan heresy.

I’ve been researching this topic for quite some time now, and while not being the most popular position this is indeed the most correct Christian stand and is based 100% on a sound biblical study, this has nothing to do with questioning the legitimacy of the papacy which Brother Diamond clearly explains. Br. Peter most definitely won the debate. Doesn’t necessarily mean his position is 100% correct, but it has a lot of credibility and I’m sick and tired of all the coping that takes place on the pro V2 side. When you have to explain away so many errors and constantly play damage control for a bad leader…your position begins to lack a ton of credibility. That’s what happened about halfway through on Jeff’s side of the argument. His position fell apart and it was clear he wasn’t prepared for what Br. Peter had prepared. Clearly a victory for Br. Peter Dimond

Recently joined RCIA this month and I am very excited to join the Catholic Church after being an atheist most of my life. Speaking from a guy who watches a ton of Pints With Aquinas, Jimmy Akin, Trent Horn etc, Bro. Peter made some valid points (valid in the sense that I do not know what I do not know but he is VERY convincing in this debate). Questions that I now have: 1. Can a Pope pray with other religions in other churches and that is not heretical? I looked up our current Pope and see that he prayed in a Mosque facing Mecca. Does that mean I can have a protestant girlfriend and pray in her church with her? Very confusing. Feels like it should be a Randy Jackson "it's a no from me dawg 😂". 2. Anti-Popes. Wikipedia may not be the best source but there does seem to be some history of Popes not actually being Popes? How does this line up with scripture and the idea of papal infallibility? Yikes. 3. If Vatican 2 was in fact a mistake, how can it be corrected? Was it a mistake? Does someone need authority to see that certain teachings contradict previous teachings? Br. Peter came well prepared. Seems to be some previous Popes who make it very clear that some Vatican 2 teachings are wrong. Overall, still going to continue in RCIA and be like Padre Pio. Even if our current structure in the Catholic Church is wrong (only God knows) and even if our Pope is an anti pope (only God knows) I believe in Jesus Christ, our only savior and that the true Catholic Church will not succumb to Satan (only God knows how that will work). I'll be praying for everyone in this video and to all my beloved brothers and sisters of God. God bless.

Stay Grounded. Believing that Pope Francis is the Pope or not is not going to help your salvation, rather stay faithful to the Christ and his Church. Receive he sacraments stay in the state of Grace, read the Bible, read Baltimore Catechism and become a Saint!

%100 supernatural faith is going on here. If you know what true charity is, you can see it working through Bro Peter and the work of the monastery. Debates aren't just to score points, to truly move the hearts of others requires love and conformity to the will of God. He changes you into a new creature if you don't stand in your own way. People in the comments are cleary enamored by the vibe Bro Peter gives off, seeing his face and hearing his voice.. he's a real person too. That's why I don't take his approach as a sign of bad will, rather it is of a care and love for other's souls and love of God.

He did win in many respects, but (I say that though I profess their [the Dimonds'] theological positions generally speaking), in a debate on several crucial issues I'd win the debate against Brother Peter to the point of it being embarrassing. The fact is Peter Dimond/the Dimond brothers are to a significant extent operating on false assumptions that could have been easily refuted were those who know about such assumptions given the chance to confront the Dimonds in the public arena. It is simply a fact what the Post-Vatican II Church does to the Dimonds (use their [the Dimonds'] comparative secular obscurity to render their positions and mission as ineffectual as possible), the Dimonds themselves do to those who would and could overcome the Dimonds in the public arena [in some respects] given the chance. The Dimonds and [especially] their supporters, from my years long extensive personal experience, do this to others on a regular basis, it is their cup of tea. The Dimond brothers definitely cannot, among others, answer the following "Why haven't you explained, as did Frere Michel you yourselves acknowledge as a reputable Fatima researcher, that the Third Secret of Fatima Sister Lucia described as corresponding to Revelation chapters 8 to 13? Does it have anything to do with the fact the period of peace in said chapters/in said chain of events only occurs after the religious crumbling ends [and it definitely has not ended up to now]; thus rendering invalid your assertion the Triumph of Mary over Russia already occurred?" If you want a stick to beat the Dimonds with, this one question [among others] will do, because the only answer to that they have is to ignore the issue altogether. @@sambrittenden4045 It is a dogmatic issue and it is in fact connected to sedevacantism, because if the Dimonds are correct in saying the promised period of peace has already come and no further crumbling is to be expected, this means the Dimonds and their milieu are likely to remain traditionalist, whereas the Secret implies the crumbling/apostasy will get to them and their followers infallibly (which means the dogmatic issue will get to them in the form of their dogmatic corruption). So the Dimond position falsifies the Third Secret of Fatima. It also falsifies the Third Secret and muddles the issue of Sedevacantism insofar as, according to Malachi Martin, the Third Secret describes a sede vacante, a false facade secularized church ruled by an antipope and a legitimate pope eventually connected to an underground church. The Revelation passages connected to the Secret (Revelation 8 to 13 according to Sister Lucia), and in the context of Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser's interpretation of these same chapters, indicates a new Pontiff will arise bearing the title of Ark of the Testament. The Dimond brothers told me personally this proposition is a satanic superstition meant to increase my punishment in hell. So if the Secret holds true in saying, according to Malachi Martin, a sign in the sky will reveal a power from on high that frightens the entire earth and speaks directly to people (and is connected qualitatively to the Ark of the Testament as he himself insinuates) the Dimonds will apparently simply say it is a satanic hoax or something of the kind, and this has to do with sedevacantism insofar as it has to do with an actual pope they apparently would reject. And by the way Fatima researcher used as a reputable source by the Dimonds, Frere Michel, described in detail how the heretical novelty of dogma not being convertible with belief in private revelation comes historically from Father Edouard Dhanis, s.j., the great insidious enemy and boycotter of Fatima. This thesis is also ultimately responsible for the Vatican II Council novelty of discipline without dogmatic connotation (something even Lefebvre noted was unheard of in all of Church history up to that point).

I know the Dimond brothers have a dubious history, are perhaps not validly consecrated as Benedictines and are Feenyites. I have been following them off and on for over a decade. Some of the points the Dimonds make about fake traditionalists like Michael Matt, John Salza and the late Mother Angelica are sadly, true. It is best not to underestimate the Dimonds' intelligence whereas that of neo-Catholics like Fradd are mediocre, at best.

It abselutely does not matter whether there are a better debater.. What matters is who present the truth, and that is Brother Peter Dimond. In order to save your soul one must become a tradiotional Catholic, and there are many heretical "tradiotional" ways. But the Dimond Brothers at MHFM always promotes the true teachings of the Catholic Church, they are not ifanible, but they always promote true teaching, and they show scripture sources. The Dimond Brothers at MHFM fully supports and promotes the one true catholic teaching as it was and has always been since Jesus time on earth.

Absolutely agree with Peter Dimond , I also heard the term "ipso facto" growing up and to my recollection, your action or actions put you outside the Catholic Church without the process of formal excommunication. The reason for not attending non Catholic services is the same as for having non Catholic religions perform in the Vatican, pachamamas etc is that it gives these false religious a type of justification when in fact they are doctrines and objects of devil's and demons.

The folks involved in V2 simply didn’t want to rock any boats. Anyone standing up and saying, “Hey, something smells funny here,” probably would’ve been ostracised and removed from any positions. How do you have an unchanging church that changes? You can’t have a church that has a certain set of principles and beliefs, then suddenly makes a 180. I don’t understand why people involved with V2 didn’t look at what was being changed and yell about it. Maybe it’s simply human failing. This is all so similar to the current legal system in the US. If you’re on the correct side, you don’t get charged and prosecuted. If you’re on the wrong side, you’ll get charged and prosecuted all day long. So the layperson’s claim that nobody else in the church thinks the way the brother does isn’t an argument. I don’t care if 999 people claim that stealing is ok, and there’s 1 person saying it’s not ok; the 1 is correct. Catholic beliefs are not a debatable subject, because they weren’t instituted by us. They were instituted by Christ and therefore cannot be changed. Full stop.

Unless you prove that apostolic mission or formal jurisdiction from pope are not necessary to valid AND LICIT sacraments and for govern the Church (and thus Council od Trent and Leon XIII and Pius XII were wrong about this) or Church defected.
