@@danoneall4013 Being one of 5 guys EVER to strike out 54% of all hitters he's faced entitles him to whatever buildup they give him. And he's doing it NOW, when hitters are far better than prior eras. Every pitch he throws is must see TV.

Endy Nimmo catch. Timmy Trumpet entrance. A healthy De'Goat going 7 innings. All at a time when the Mets are down in the dumps offensively, they can't sink any lower in their slump, their division lead hanging by a thin thread, and all of this while trying to tread water in a series against the best team in baseball. This game has to be an instant Mets Vault Classic. Win it all or not in 2022, I would still be thrilled to rewatch this when SNY replays it in a couple of years from now.

It wasn't Buckner. It was John McNamara. That may have been the worst managerial job from two managers in postseason history.

the excitement this year is almost like 86, which was a fantastic year to be a mets fan, went to many games at shea. big party . I live in florida now so watch the games on tv, and see the same energy in the stands, the only other thing we need is the curly shuffle in the 7th inning stretch.

Ottavino slamming the door in the 8th (please don't take that for granted- wouldn't have happened last year). Free concert by the newest celebrity Mets fan. Diaz slamming the door in the 9th with a perfect inning. All of this after losing a real heartbreaker yesterday. Again, don't take that for granted. This team has miles more mental toughness than any Met team I can remember. Winning a game after yesterday would have been out of the question last year. Incredible game. Incredible team. This club has already given us so many memories. Lets hope they're schedule lasts two more months. LFGM!!!

I can't stop watching this, and I cry every time that I watch it. It is so unique to have the crowd as quiet as they were, and then Timmy starts with the horn and it is so gladiator style. Its like Diaz is going to slay and the crowd just cheers it on. But I loved to see those who were actually dancing and not just recording on their phone. There video is no where near the production of this vid, which is so freaking awesome!

@@jaredgmetz thanks. Honestly though speaking baseball and real talk we are looking good. The truth though is october is a whole different ball game. And in my own honest opinion the Mets, cardinals, and Braves play hard in october. The dodgers haven't shown that since 88.
