The current electricity crisis in Ghana is also due to the inability of the Ghanaian government to settle a $300 million debt owed to the Nigerian Gas Company. Discussions are ongoing, the Nigerian government is in the process of forgiving them half of the debt. Does a stubborn child(Ghana) deserve forgiveness from his parents(Nigeria)?
