Thanks for the video Paul. It confirms the fact you don’t need to waste money on the flashy gear etc, just a bit of maintenance is all that us required.

Lovely Ep and Set up guys we love simple to. We do the same everything we store our gear in plastic tubs from the big green shed of SCA, And I do all the maintenance on our little windup up jayco van and our old 80 series

Ah. Nice to hear 👍 Good to see the uncomplicated side of this thing called "camping " 😂😂 Somehow it's gone off the rails with expensive setups well out of the reach of the average traveller We've been doing this for a long time now & seen it change so much. Cheers 🍻 Paul & Michelle

Yes I here you, You have a lovely simple set up the only way to go, I travelled with my mum and dad locally here in the Noosa shire to DI and Fraser for years camping, ,I learnt to drive my dads SWB Landrover 50 od years ago now as dad only had 4wds, Did my first lap of Aus with my mum and Dad in 1988 I bought my first new 2,2lt Hilux 4wd in 1982 drove it up to Cape York the same year Always had just simple gear that works. Most people theses days got all the gear with no Idea like its the latest fashion, they must follow 24/7 or A4A,at all costs, lovely channel, thanks for sharing your Ideas.

Hi Paul sounds like you are fairly mechanical. Excellent vid as it looks like you work on the KISS principal. Cheers

Thanks Peter Yes. I do like to be self sufficient. I like to be able to at least have a bit of an idea of how to fix a situation on the road Saying that. We don't have many issues. I think it's just because we do preventative maintenance & keep an eye out for any issues while we're travelling..... You see so many vans & cars with problems that probably could have been avoided with a few simple checks Cheers Paul & Michelle

G’day Paul The fan in the caravan fridge, any chance you remember where you purchased, I’m looking into that atm, but not many choices out there, well not without spending $300-$500 Thanks

Sorry Troy, wouldn't have a clue Had it for a while now. Think it was on eBay but couldn't tell you where. Definitely worth it though 😂 I remember I only spent about $80 on it. Maybe check eBay Sorry I can't be of more help Cheers 🍻

I extended the mud flaps on our 200 to about 100mm off the ground and never have rock issues. I don't like the other options.
@pmk3australia9 ай бұрын
Yep 👍. Definitely I really can't be bothered with most of the options available Have always extended my mudflaps for n all our cars I reckon if you stop the stones at the source you are on the right track 👍 Thanks for your input Cheers Paul & Michelle
