I have had burnt muskrat tails as a child and they are super sweet it's like eating a marshmallow.

I personally have not eaten this, but I just was reading other people's comments and decided to leave a comment myself. I am not a vegitarian. I do eat meat and fish. When I used to live in the US, I first thought eating Turkey for Christmas was utterly disgusting; because growing up in Japan, I had never had Turkey untill when I gone to the U.S. It all depends on what you are conditioned to eat as children.. it all boils down to that.

I'm more concerned that the proposed "nationwide" Kola's will drive muskrats to the brink of endangerment....

Here in Sweden we hunt muskrats for food. I shot 2 muskrats today, and i will eat them tomorrow! :-)

As far as eating a rodent - hasn't anyone here ever eaten rabbit? You can buy that in the frozen food section of your grocery store.

im a cree native living in canada and a lot of my family still eat it i never tried it though i did try bever and it was ok so i guess it must taste something like that

It is funny, people say muskrats are cute, and because of that eating them is evil. How about eating lamb? or cows or chicken? they are also breating, living animals and we eat them. How about peopel who eat rabbits? I am just as guilty for eating meat and fish... as I said I am not a vegitarian, but do you think cows, chicken and fish enjoy being killed to be eaten as well?
